I loved this and just seeing the excel spreadsheet of how easy it makes it! I do a lot of our tracking in a notebook and on paper but this just looks way easier!
I’m a little behind on your videos so just getting to this one. Do you guys not do Netflix or have a car payment? I’m assuming health insurance is automatically deducted from the paychecks. I was taught nothing about money and have had to learn as I go as an adult with a family now😅 and I only ask to see what you do instead of Netflix and Disney+? Also could not agree more about the insane price of groceries. It’s mind boggling to me. Everything is so expensive and I’m trying to find ways to save money for my family.

It’s crazy how much I’ve had to teach myself (still learning) as an adult! We paid for the year for Disney/Hulu. And yes, health insurance comes out of paychecks. ❤️

I think once you realize how gratifying it is to save then it’s easier to not overspend. Some months are different than others and we indulge a bit more or treat ourselves.

We were using pen and paper for awhile, but recently started using Excel. Way easier, especially when adding everything up.
I absolutely love how you created this sheet breaking it all down. It makes me want to do a breakdown again of what I bring in and put out.

Yes! We pay car insurance (I think I added it to the sheet? Oops) and we have health insurance through my hubby’s work. It comes out of his paycheck!

We use credit cards to earn points or cash back, but we pay them off as we go. My old credit card really had no benefits, so I wanted to pay it off!
