I have a question. Why does everyone do bales. Doing loose material is so much cheaper and doesn’t take near the time. When doing bales u need to buy a baler, a transport trailer, a way to load them on said trailer, storage or they will rot. Then there is the time involved. Just get a loading wagon or a small trailed forage implement or forage harvester and b done with it

Good idea. It was more of a general question because just about every person on UA-cam does bales and I alway wandered why. I myself did bales when I first started on 17 but quickly went to a forage wagon and it was so much easier

Definitely, depends on a few factors but I believe a lot of people do it just out of love for the whole process, at least I did
