I feel like the song and video imply a message of pretending to be something you're not, or being pressured to be something you're not (ie the forced dress changes/behavior changes/isolation in a crowd). Or being in that position and longing to go back to another time when you were yourself. Idk haha, great song!

I’m old. I’ve listened to lots of music since I was younger than Destroy Boys. But little of it is as cool, as raw, as interesting and from a world of dirty rock clubs and vans on the road as they are. So great!! Since the vacuum of shitty music in the early 2000’s, Destroy Boys, is the real deal. I want to put on torn jeans, Doc martins (vintage Docs of course) and a rock t-shirt and go see them at a place with cheap drinks and jam out. Please, ignore my grey hair, I can still enjoy the vibe.
I’ll be there on 10/25. Fuck, maybe I’ll dust off my Doc’s. lol
I’ve been diagnosed with a neurological disorder that makes my whole body numb, and since then I’ve been disabled and so distraught and this song just speaks to me so loud, I constantly feel like I’m floating and in panic. I’ve isolated myself from the world since this has happened and I feel so lonely. I can’t seem to stop myself from SH whenever I listen to this song.😭😭😭💕✨

I wanna tell you this because I don't think it's fair for this to keep going and the band to just pretend like they didn't do anything wrong but they are abuse apologists :( I used to really love them too but news came out that Lydia Knight was being groomed a abused by Joey Armstrong from SWMRs and they were aware of it happened but said nothing. I don't think it's fair to the fans for them to just act like nothing happened and I'm sorry that this happened :(

One time I was at one of their shows, and I saw someone who really triggered me, I left the audience in a panic attack. After the show was over the lead singer sought me out to make sure I was ok. We talked for a minute and she gave me the warmest sweatiest kindest hug. I love destroy boys 🖤🖤🖤🖤
