The zip tie can go in any direction that makes since for securing the comb. All are made differently. If there’s a comb in the vertical side you put the zip tie going horizontal and vice versa. I’ve even seen Moms add additional zip ties once it’s secured. They put the zip tie through the bottom of the bun and secure it through the net so it’s not seen. And no worries everyone, she is not tender headed nor does this cause any more discomfort than sewing it in the traditional way. She does find the comments comical though lol
Sorry for the delay in response. Lots are different but from what I have seen the majority of them do. If there is no pony holder you can easily add one to it. Just secure it to the front edge of the net with a tiny zip tie.
Oh and I suggest asking for the ponytail in the front and one comb in the back if you’re going to use the zip tie. Most come with 2 combs on the sides and it makes it harder to tighten the zip tie.
This...is disgraceful !! the little girl MUST be in extreme discomfort if not actual PHYSICAL PAIN..and for what..a ridiculous rule of the dancing world that says..You HAVE to have your hair a certain way..!!

Can I weave the zip tie through the hair piece first then put it through her bun?
Do all hair pieces have that ponytail holder or is it part of drawstring? I’m new to this and my daughters only has the two comb clips and drawstring

Is no one else really distracted by how aggressive she’s being with that poor child’s head? lol, why is she yanking her so hard jeez lady
LOL. This isn’t anywhere near aggressive.
can the zip tie go under the bun vertically?
Yes it can go any way it needs depending on the way your pony is made. As long as you’re going under the bun and ponytail holder it will hold.
where’d you get the ponytail? is there a website??
Easiest way is to contact them on Facebook

Done right there’s no discomfort and it’s much healthier for their hair than teasing their actual hair.
