I love your reactions to his videos as they are just like mine lol. The Fat Electrician is hilarious thanks for doing this one Rob it was epic. I wonder where that man hole cover is today, on some alien planet maybe, I would love to see their reaction when it landed 😂, we must find this US Government and charge them for littering 🤣🕳️
One thing that Fat Electrician is a little bit off on is that the Germans put the first manmade object in space with the launch of a V-2 rocket to an altitude of 176 kilometers on June 20, 1944. So no matter what happened to the manhole cover, it was definitely never going to be the first manmade object in space. It is also possible that he is just thinking that the manhole cover would have gone into orbit, which it would not have...but it just proves he is still human and can make mistakes. LOL
I don't think he implied in any way it went into orbit considering the speed it was moving and getting to space in a literal second it only logically makes sense it is continuing on carried by its momentum.
@@PatriotJedi At 17:32 or so, he literally specifies that the manhole cover happened before Sputnik, which definitely implies he thought the manhole cover went into orbit. Either that, or it means that he does not know that there is a difference between going "into space" and going "into orbit". No worries either way...he is still studying for his degree, and even after he gets it, he will still be human and still make mistakes...no big deal at all.

We are gonna find out one day, that man hole cover caused a mass extinction on another planet. We wiped out another planets dinosaurs lol.
Nawww it’s gonna collide with a comet in the Ort cloud knocking it off course forcing it to make a direct path with Earth 😂
@@angrydemonproductions4361 So....the plotline from Armageddon or Deep Impact becomes real? You opened a rabbit hole. Lol
@@TheArkyCrew That was the point 🤪

lol. Yeah don’t know what planet was in the sites on that launch.
If it left Earth's orbit, chances are it's somewhere in the Oort Cloud surrounding the Solar System.
YUP....12:34 I went to GODZILLA too EH!🍁🍁🍁🍁
@@lizwiz2779 yeah I thought Godzilla came from the center of the earth,
