Greatest in my eyes as well! Could do it all. Was amazing on the mic with promos & interviews. His look was incredible. The winged eagle belt never looked better than when he had the cape, bandana, sunglasses, 3striped trunks & the wwF world heavyweight championship belt around his waist. Lastly his skill. Lightning fast & ahead of his time. Nobody was going to the top rope to jump down to the outside of the ring back then except Randy. He’d jump from the top of the steel cage also & only snuka had done that too. Taking the backdrop over the top rope to the floor as well. His elbow drop was beautiful. He’d get so high & travel 3/4 across the ring most times. They really tried to keep him a heel but the crowd loved him regardless. Adding him to the main events made them so much more exciting & entertaining. They really dropped the ball turning him heel again. There was a steady decline from that moment on. I can go on but I’ve rambled long enough lol. I just love seeing people giving macho the credit he deserves because he doesn’t get enough in my opinion.
@@cliffslatterly2893 even without that shit real fans know randy was one of the greatest. He ranked at number 7 or 10 of the most influential wrestlers of his time. He was a great wrestler man.
I have to kill this rumor. Savage did NOT punch a kid. He was VERY active in several children's hospital and foundation charities throughout his entire career. He was a champion for the MDA foundation and visited sick kids in the hospital in his local area right up until the end of his life. Savage, outside of the ring, was one of the kindest and most compassionate people, especially with children, that you will ever meet. I know this because I've watched dozens of interviews with people that had nothing to benefit from saying anything kind, both before and after his death. It's bogus and I just had to get that out there. RIP Mach
There are younger wrestlers that have said macho Man was a class act. A generous guy. So STFU. Nobody has said anything bad about him. Get off his video then hater.
I know your comment is 6 yes ago but I'm just now seeing it & have to comment! You are damn right!!! Pro wrestlers are some of the craziest people ever, more so back in the day but most people (including rock stars) couldn't last a month in the old school pro wrestlers world!! Literally, legally insane behavior back then!!
Say what you want about Kevin Nash's back stage politics, or his on screen persona, etc, but when you get right down to it Nash is one cool guy, a smart man, and one of the best guys you could find to just hang out with.
Awww, he was worried it was Scott :( @ 0:53. The Wrestling Entertainment business has seen its share of untimely deaths and so many wrestlers have endured hearing the horrible news that the man and women that they've worked w/ and traveled w/ for years just up and died suddenly. I can only imagine what these guys go through. RIP Randy. Get well soon, Scott.
With all the untimely deaths in wrestling and Scott Hall's bout with alcohol and depression, it's no shock that Nash would be nervous about getting the news.
Great vids, I enjoyed them. You should promote them on Twitter or Facebook or something since the lack of views is mainly down to no one knowing about them.
The Macho Dvd, could have been a lot better. How do you make a dvd package without the wrestler you're profiling ? Maybe they couldn't get Randy but quite frankly, if you can't, you wait until you can get him.
Its a funny way to measure relevance but on Facebook when you look for gifs,Savage still has a ton and he has been gone for awhile.A lot of guys unless they are current dont have nearly as many as him if any at all.Savage was so finy cool.
I really like these interviewers. It pisses me off when I listen to all these interviewers that treat our wrestlers with disrespect and irreverance but these guys seem like legitamate fans
I wouldn't say I "know" it. But Randy Savage is considered by just about everybody in the business to have been one of the smartest business men in Wrestling history. The guy knew what he was doing with his business decisions and money managing. You really think the only reason he ended up keeping the Slim Jim contract when he jumped ship to WCW was because Kevin Nash told some guy filming a commercial that they should keep Randy? That doesn't strike you as the slightest bit ridiculous?
I love the stories that randy was so reclusive and not flamboyant but the stuff he wore was so bright and colorful that people didn't have a choice but to notice him. But I have heard that he loved all his fans even on the road. Makes me sad when people twist someone's intentions. Like when people say he'd lock Liz in the dressing room. Instead of saying he was locking the fans out. This was a time in wrestling that almost ALL managers and valets carried gimmicks to protect themselves from hostile crowds. The Caine's or tennis rackets, to the megaphone to a giant grey brick cell phone. Liz had nothing to protect her from the fanatics besides randy.
Vince will wait a couple more years then put macho man in the hall of fame. Probably waiting for the right time.and right person to induct him. Like if he can snag hogan for a legends contract in WWE for a year. Won't be anytime soon though hogan and bischoff have a contract till october 2012
Lanny doesn't allow him to be in because 1. They waited 'til he died to call 2. No one wants a eulogy speech, they want Randy so he would only accept if the whole Family goes in, Angelo, Lanny, and Randy
Yea but vince has had a working relationship with him. And nash is very well known to his family(aka HHH). He will tell you they have always remaind friends since the early 90s. Nash constantly says as much. And he still talks to Shawn waltman and scott hall on a regular. And being he has a legends contract in WWE right now I would have to think there is confidence in him. Especially in his opinions.
I have no problem believing that. I have a problem believing that that guy would take advice from Kevin Nash regarding million dollar business deals. And I doubt that if that happened and he brought it to the people who did make that decision they'd take advice from a professional wrestler they had no real working relationship with at all.
I'm not sure this Wrestling Hall of Fame is legit one bit. However, the MLB Hall of Fame is also a joke. There are slight differences. One, the WWF/WWE puts people over to become a Champion. In reality Ray Mysterio would never beat the Heavy Weight champion unless they were AARP members & many of these older stars could really fight. Ray would get his ass beat by Owen Hart & Devon Dudley in less than 4 minutes if that. The WWE hall is not something as hard to get in if you are in the profession.
I can`t say for sure there ever was or wasn`t anything that happened between Randy & Stephanie during the end of his WWF tenure, but that story does sound about as credible as Jim Hellwig dying and some impostor replaced him as the Ultimate Warrior because Hellwig had shrank months after he left WWF the first time.
I'm sorry i think vince would of let the slim jim fall out go had it been the case. But I do believe it was because the mach slept with stephanie who was 17 at the time!
Macho Man didnt sleep with Stephanie. Vince wanted youth with HBK and Bret Hart. Thats why he left. How do people call HBK the best ever and he couldnt sell? I love Bret Hart but he couldnt sell either
wow, there is no way i would admit what nash just did. if i am not mistaken, he says as wwf champion he convinced slim jim to stay with randy savage when he had just left the company? he not only was helping the competition, but he could have cost vince thousands or millions maybe by swaying them to stay with randy. it would not have been wrong if savage was still with the wwf, but nash was cutting off the hand that fed him
Macho Man may have passed but Macho Mania will go on forever. Dig it! Oh yeah!
\m/
Randy Poffo was one of the best performers of all time and I just loved his persona. There is only one Macho Man and no one else can come close.
The greatest wrestler of all time

I like that Nash is a Macho fan. Who isn't??
nash was wrong. vince never made it right and put randy in the hall of fame
If anyone should be in the Hall of Fame, its Macho Man. I'm getting his new dvd for Christmas. Huge fan.
He's one of them for sure. Probably my second all time. His Hall of Fame induction is LONG over due.
@@cliffslatterly2893 even without that shit real fans know randy was one of the greatest. He ranked at number 7 or 10 of the most influential wrestlers of his time. He was a great wrestler man.

His interviews were always great!
0:50 not Scott :(

Your justification is out there. You can't so you know someone because you saw interviews of people saying nice things about him.
There are younger wrestlers that have said macho Man was a class act. A generous guy. So STFU. Nobody has said anything bad about him. Get off his video then hater.
agree fully, he always saw wrestling as a business and people hate him for it. I think he seems like a great guy to hang out with
Most underrated wrestler ever. Name 1 wrestler who can perform, do promos, and had a great look and was a 10/10 in each category. Name 1
Thats not even a question. Macho man is in the top 10 for one of the most influential wrestlers of his time.
Undertaker!!!! Stone Cold. Rock. Shawn Michaels. Kane. Chris Jericho.
No disrespect but MachoMan was better than the best! Those names there are great too but MachoMan is in a class by himself.
People think rock stars partied hard, they had nothing on old school professional wrestlers. Those guys partied harder than anybody.
I know your comment is 6 yes ago but I'm just now seeing it & have to comment! You are damn right!!! Have yall never heard of motley crue. Lol
If you are wrestling fan, you know the hurt of the loss of the Macho Man. John Cena is big, Brock Lenar is big, Randy Savage was the best!
He was better than the best!
Say what ya want, but if Macho Man ain't in ya top 10 goats, yo list has no credibility.
Long live the Macho Man.

Kevin Nash doing Slim Jim commercials: Awesome.
Fittingly, Kevin Nash & Randy Savage were in the same Class of HOF inductees.
Watching this a few days after Scott’s death. Man, Nash must be devastated. They were best friends man.

Macho Man and the piper was my favourite,
It's amazing, not matter what story Nash tells, beer is some how always involved one way or the other.
Macho Madness will never die! Oooooooooooooh Yeeeeeeeaaaaahh! Dig It!

Kevin Nash's household still uses AOL? Somebody powerbomb Diesel back into modern times!
It was 5 years ago. It was still relevant
where is part 2
ya can take randy savage..but you will never take our FREEEEEEDOOOOOOM!!!!!!
@vincentrich
Correct me if I am wrong... but wasn't Bret Hart the FIRST person in WWE/WWF history to do a worked shoot??
big fan Mark!
Why is this interview divided into 10 videos?
so he can get paid 10 times, welcome to youtube
a shoot on macho man i mean i know he had his faulties but he learned from them and actually was with peace with himself before he died!
Nash's story on Slim Jim contradicts the Bischoff story on how they negotiated machos pay
just imagine if nash signed a 10 year contract he could have sat at home for 5 years and got paid
God, this Scottish accents are brutal to listen to.
i bet scott was loving it. Owned
Long live macho man!!!!
Where is Macho Mans Interview to Jake Roberts about being insane ?
Ohhh ya! R.I.P!
How is this a "shoot video"? I hope he doesn't get a call about Scott soon. :(
Mach one of the all time best hands down
So Nash blew out his knee doing the Slim jim advert?
@amnboss0
I said Bret was the first person to do it in the WWF/WWE, not smokey mountain.

Freak out freak out! Oooooh yeeeahhh!
How would you know anything about that??
Sounded pretty tame
What did you hear?
@fbebeats I personally liked his matches with Bret and Undertaker as well as Shawn. But that's just me.
@vincentrich
I think that Bret Hart doesn't get enough credit for being soooo instrumental to the creation of the attitude era.
nash is so funny

0:59 "RANNNNDYYYYY" Lmao (family guy joke..)
Pro wrestling reached its zenith (and mainstream acceptance) in the 90s because of the pack that Nash ran with.
At least Nash is sober for this interview. I'm impressed.

I'm a bit drunk, but goddamn that's hilarious.
You mean the some guy that made all of macho man slim jim commercials? you don't think that guy would have any pull in keeping macho is a spokes men?
I Know Scott Hall Never Mentioned That In A Interview
Lanny doesn't allow him to be in because 1. They waited 'til he died to call 2. No one wants a eulogy speech, they want Randy so he would only accept if the whole Family goes in, Angelo, Lanny, and Randy
Ha, Nash thought the same thing Sean Waltman thought. (that it was Scott Hall)
I wonder if Kev gave him back his Lucky Charms.
Now that`s pushing it.
Because he's worried about his friend.

he sounds exactly like randy orton
It's a shame he's waiting for the call about Scott Hall.

LMAO, one the few yt comments i've actually laughed at. its probably true, too.
Macho not in the hall = shameful of the wwe
1. Who the fuck is Macha Man?
2. Let me answer your question, with a question: Did you even listen to the interview?
Kevin Nash tore his quad giving this interview.
10 years and your comment still has no likes hahaha
October 20, 1958 (age 54) although he will be 55 this year
1959 would make someone 54 this year (2013)

Savage never wanted the hall of fame! period that is why he's not in there. His Family is keeping there promise to Lerry.

HAHAHA oh really???? Then who? It wasn't Austin, it wasn't Michaels.... who?
Kevin Nash tore his quad making the cup of coffee

+Parker Smith makes you think huh
Scrooge McDuck does a good interview.
"NO MORE BABY OIL! GET OUT!" Andre the Giant hated MM because he was a punk.
