every song with both of them singing is a gift that I cannot get enough of.
In a word: "Timeless".
Joan and Mimi......beautiful Beings of Light....!!!
Angel voices.
I am weeping, I miss her so much. God called her back to heaven: she was far too beautiful for this harsh and heavy planet.
you mean this harsh & heavy system of corporative GRRRReed .
Planet EarTH was a paradise .. b4 being exploited , ravaged & covered in concrete !
Joan loved her sister so much. Both very talented
I am Tuli Kuperberg's girlfriend. Tuli left the planet in 2010. He liked this version. We only knew Mimi as a public performer, Joan Baez's sister.
I've loved this song since I first heard Tuli and the Fugs perform it in the mid sixties. I still play the Fugs' version because it is so beautiful. You are so lucky to have known him.
We miss u, rest in peace Mimi!
i will never forget them. 2 sisters of Joan passed away. Joan is the only one left. i love joan since i was able to see how a record player is working, yes.....since my early childhood. i think that was one of the first things i could do. i didn't know how to read or to write, but i knew what to do when i wanted to hear music.
Fantastic playing and the voices oh !
Absolutely beautiful.
Beautiful photographs in the video!
Richard and Mimi ❤️🔥
Man! This stuff is great ... Hail Joan & Mimi! DGM/
This wonderful performance can be found on the album Joan Baez -Newport Folk Festival 1968. It’s great. I’m actually listening to it right now.

This is "Morning Morning," written by Tuli Kupferberg of the Fugs.
Quelle voix SUBLIME
Hard to top the Everly brothers but they just did!
Found it in Wolfgang's Vaults!
I always loved Long John Baldry’s version of this song, but this is just sublime.
OMG, what?!......... What did I just HEEEAAAAAAAR??? That was so freaking GOOD!!! And such a humbling experience to realize that you still don't know everything about your favorite artist in the whole world (Joan)!... And how sweet of her to leave singing room to younger sister, the ravishing e'er-so-fresh MIMI! Thank you so much for posting that gem! (where the heck did you get that, I'm DYING to know lol) You really touched my heart!! LOVE from a French fan!
oups! Hadn't even seen the caption "from the Newport Folk festival 1968" lol my bad...
Every time! Every time this amazing feeling when I discover a song by her that I actually have-not-heard-before.
@@dougr.2398 Hello! Who said that it was a composition by Joan? I doubt it is.... She has repeatly said that her first ever composition was about Mimi's second husband, "Sweet Sir Galahad" (69)...
To hear the correct lyrics as Tuli wrote them listen to the Fugs version sung by Ed Sanders.
The name of this song is "Morning, Morning" by Tuli Kupferberg from the Fugs Second Album. Thanks for posting this rare track. I knew Mimi sang "Morning, Morning" but never heard it before. Where ever did you find it?
Geniales hermanas!
This fantastic audio quality is from a concert?!?!
It shows Mimi playing autoharp. I wonder what song
Are you Tuli Kupferberg? What did you think of this version? What a beautiful, hypnotic guitarist Mimi was. Did you know her?
I kinda figured it out by muddling around. I can play by ear, but trying to explain is difficult. Suffice to say, it is in D. The three key chords I use are D, G, and A. If you make the G a bar chord you can make it a 7th (??) which compliments their harmony... If that's any help? Have a play along to it! Best of luck!
Also loved Richie Havens recording of Morning, morning
I would love someone to tab the shit out of this
A Fugs song...interesting

What an age, what an age! I am older than dirt, and here is a recording I have never heard before....thank whatever gods may be for the internet and people who post miracles!
Totally agreed, I restarted listening to JB after few songs I had heard decades ago in late teen age
How true!! I totally get what you say (although I 'm not as old)
