i cried the first time listening to waiting for us, and now i'm crying again while watching you TT that song is my favorite in the album, listening to it is just a magical experience.
Same with me,it hits so different especially at Jeongin's first part,that got me teared up.I still get emotional everytime I hear it.

and YES! Changbin already said he wouldnt waste emotions for people who he dislikes or dislikes him. Even Lee Know is apathetic about people he doesnt care about. theyve always shared that message, and it's more aggressively projected in Oddinary 😂 love them so much
Don’t worry I cried too…StrayKids literally saved me from depression and they keep saving me…so when they said “I go through the same thing” and “I’ll hold your hand” 😭it just makes me lose it

DAAAAMMMMMNNNN!!! I hadn’t watched the lyrics videos yet so seeing them here….yeah. There’s too many feels happening right now with Lonely St & Waiting For Us. I wish I could get my hubby to listen to these songs. Maybe he’d understand what goes through my head most days. I actually have tears flowing. They aren’t easy to come by for me (I have Sjögren’s) so this shows me the songs really hit hard!
I couldn't help crying when I read the lyrics for "Waiting for us" and now hearing your story just made me tear up again 😢 it's crazy how a song can move our emotions and specially coming from stray kids. This song feels like a big embrace for me, filled with this particular love they have for stay. They really really were the light for me when I was in one of the lowest and darkest points of my life, they saved me in so many ways and I will never be able to thank them enough for that. I love them.

Our loved ones pay just as much as we do with our chronic illnesses, life changes so much, and it's so hard to watch a loved one go through so much and feel helpless. Sending big hugs your way ❤️ Also, about Oddinary, SKZ has outdone themselves again! Not only are all the songs fire, but the message is so consistent and powerful too. They're incredibly creative!
For a 31 year old man I cried when you told your story about you almost dying. I couldn't imagine how hard that was for you and everyone else close to you. Sounds like you've been through alot, glad you've been able to press yourself forward.
Also Muddy Water, when they say "This my lifestyle" I was hoping they would of had Changbin say "That's my style" only because if the time they were in New York and he said that a lot.

This color coded video failed to show that Han and Changbin were actually going back and forth in the pre chorus- it stayed on changbin in this video but it’s actually both of them and then him

We have so many emotions in just 7 songs of a mini-album and we can see their growth every single time :,) My fave song this time was Muddy Water, as a khh stan and just fan of hiphop in general this song was just made for me but the whole album is a masterpiece ♡
a really fun fact about muddy water is that that lyric video is actually wrong at one point and it's actually changbin and han going back and forth !!

Muddy Water is by far my favorite song on the album, i grew up listening to hip hop, more precisely late 90's hip hop and this song brings back so many memories!
I am glad you can put yourself and your life's perspective through a song. I just feel like for songs Like Lonely St and Waiting for Us, only people who have gone through specific things and actually put themself into that songs will they truely understand the beauty of the song and lyrics.
Because it won't just be "music" anymore, it's something much more touching and it became something relatable for us. This is why I love Lonely st and Waiting for us.
When people rank oddinary, many put waiting for us at the end, because to them
it's not "their taste of music" Which isn't a bad thing.
To people who only gonna listen to the songs for the sake of listening, it would just be like any typical music. But to those who listen for comfort, to feel better, to want to feel understood, they see the songs as something more meaningful
Hearing you talk about Lonely st. and your personal experience made me cry. I am 24 years old and I am in what seems like the worst moment of my short life. I have felt bad since I was 16 years old and every year that passes it gets worse. I feel so bad and I don't know how to ask for help. I want to gain courage and do it, I hope it's not too late.
About the album, "Waiting for us" is my favorite, I'm weak with this kind of songs.

Obviously I loved lonely St, but listening to you interpret and relate to it with your own personal life, and how you explained everything it really really touched me in places i never knew I could feel by a stranger's words. Wow, it's interesting how you questioned whether social media might be causing people to feel less human, because I just read a book on how the business models of many of the most prominent social media companies do just that. It's actually quite an enjoyable read and very interesting while staying frank and upfront about the current dire situation with online behavioral modification and dehumanizing of people through these platforms.

Like for you Lonely St represented yourself and waiting for us as your boyfriend. To me it was the two versions of myself, lonely St being the rock bottom phase (my current phase) and Waiting for us is a version of me that was full of hopes, dreams and positivity (a past version of me) and my desperation for both the versions to meet. 😭😭 Aww thank you so much for being so open with us your words feel like a warm hug on a cold night. Something funny: skz music has *rarely* made me cry. I think the only song I've cried to on the first listen is don't want to admit. What will ALWAYS make me cry is skz lyrics. I appreciate that too, bc for me that means I can listen to their music in both the best and worst of moods, but I can also listen to the lyrics and cry if I want to. They always manage to pinpoint feelings I never even knew I had.
