I just got the 2011 model and love it!! I'm 6'2 110kg and have no trouble with it. I live in the country and have no trouble cruising round on it and it loves corners. I highly recommend it
It is a decent bike. I myself have the kawi 250r, and my friend has a hyo gt250r, it's a bit more aggressive at a seating position from stock to stock comparison. They do offer more features than the kawi 250r, however I just like the kawi 250r more but it's all personal preference really. the Hyo Gt250r is NOT a shameful bike by any means. Great review.
@@EnvyTheRealest I ride it every day it's a great bike. Issues.... I sometimes have the fault light come on if I thrash it 150kph for extended periods but otherwise it's weighty with helps with handling and cheap to run, also plenty of grunt. Really good bike.
@@Damian-Church-NZ awesome, if every thing goes good I'm gonna get a free 09 GTR250R, I currently have a Hero 200S, I have it brand new since February, and wanna upgrade/downgrade, because it's too slow for a 200. I only get 120kph, and I have to hung the tank for that speed. The Hyosung would be a different experience for me. I mean I can go for a 600 with my 3 years experience, but I don't trust myself for a 600 just yet, but I like the 600 look of the Hyosung 250
@@EnvyTheRealest it would be a good step up and because it is quite heavy it will help transition to a 600. Mine is a 2010 model and it has fuel injection but the 2009 models I believe have carburetors so I'm not sure how they go but I'm sure it will be fun.
Beginner rider, 5 foot 8 approx 140lbs. With this bike being the bigger of the 250R, should i go with a Ninja or a Hyosung? thanks again for the video, really great presentation
You're wrong. Hyosung has increased their quality since 2010. As for the performance, it's actually between both these bikes. It's also cheaper than both. For how confortable you are.. it just depends of your body and taste. Being 6'2'', this bike is my favorite. Also, a passenger will be more confortable on this bike than the 2 others.
Nice vid but what I realy need to know is will it be good for me cause I'm 6 ft and in 240lb need more info on that, don't want to look like riding on 16 in bike
thats either a big 250cc bike or your a small rider, im 6ft10 and looking for a 250cc bike to learn on that doesn't make me look like im riding a mini bike, would you recommend this?
Someone help me out here. I'm getting into bikes and i think 250 is the way to go for the first bike. I know how to drive and can drive manual cars as well so i have an idea. I'm 5'7, 170cm, about 30 or 31 inch inseam; am i tall enough for this bike? and would be tip toeing it? Please answer, Thanks
Big bike for it's size ? You must be related to Yogi Bara.....it's like deja vu all over again. Also, it's not the same platform as the Hyosung 650. The 650 has it's own chassis design and it's also a 90 degree v-twin while the 250 is a 75 degree.
Not sure where your weight specs come from @ 159kg, but the bike is listed other places as 169 KG to 171 kg dry 187.8 kg (414.0 pounds) wet, for the 2010 GTR250, must have been the naked bikes weight ? Never rode one, but would given the chance. yl
well i have had my hyosung GT250r for just over 9 months but before i got it i went and had a test drive on the ninja and i am sorry but what did they do to that name the 250 that kawasaki put on the table is just a load of crap no jokes i had pain in my upper back after riding it i then had my friends hyosung for a week and what a joy that was no pain even after strapping my 17 inch laptop to my back its so good i will never sell it
waow i didnt know 2010 model is just 159 kgs. i gota 2008 its says its 195 kgs. wet. i think.. and its a great bike. i found it better than 250 cc ninja.. !!
@bennyboarding A ton better looking bike that the Honda and the Kawi 250's, looks like a big bike, but the power of a 250. And the Hyosung is heavier of the 2. I have swung my legs over all 3 and I own a hyosung
Top speed is 105-108 mph respectively *gps*right there with the ninja top speed. The Honda doesn't quit make it to a ton bike 90-95 ish The Hyo has got the dna from the sv650 and Honda vtr bikes v-twins rule!!
@GTFORDMAN I recommend NOT getting a 250cc bike period. You are way too big to enjoy it for more than 4 seconds. My wife (5'7" 115 lbs) could handle more power than this to learn on. I would suggest a Suzuki SV650. More upright and a twin cylinder tuned way different than a sport bike. Great starter bike that will actually push you up a hill.
ninja and cbr r better quality, cbr 250 is the best beginner bike ever, most comfortable, looks wise least sporty & aggresive, 250 is better looking aggresive, still very comfortable, and the hyosung 250 has decent quality korean, esp the 2011 & 2012 models, looks the best & sporty of the 3 in my opinion, also the heaviest... as far as speed i think is ninja> hyosung = or > honda.
the first time I saw one of these it had a vacuum flourescent dash display...I couldnt believe it, talking about old technology...what a piece of shit. not to mention engine revs to 10k...bit worried about reliability are we? SHIT

i just LOVE the headlight of the gt-r hyosung.. it sets it apart.. i like its look more than the ninja

I just purchased one lastnight 👍 $1300 and its mint. Great reviews and presentation, I just subscribed... stay cool, stay safe.
Do you still have it and any major issues?

haha after 5 seconds of him mounting the bike and 3 seconds of him driving it out of the camera shot, we return to the studio
A V-twin 250! Nice...
I want to get one of these as my first bike
Things got pretty awkward at 1:12... hahaha
@GTFORDMAN i would suggest cbr 250r ! comfortable riding position and amazing flickability
I love this video.
Cant wait for this bike !!!!!
Great reviewer!!! Keep up with quick & informational videos!

Excelent video and presentation! Thank you so much! i will buy this bike next week :D.. i think that is a great bike to start with.

I heard that the paint quality was horrible on this bike and that many parts tended to rust quickly. Did they fix those problems for the 2010 model?
Good vid I just bought one thanks for the review!

1- gt250r

3- cbr250r
More cylinders the better, I want a CBR250RR!

hey i'm new to bike and i'm 5 foot 6 inch, do you think this bike would fit me??????plz help me
@mamajuana343 I would go with a bigger liter bike, seeing as your height may be fine, but 240 may limit 250's capabilities.
On Malaysia that buke called naza blade 250r
In Present year 2017 it is available in markets means showrooms
This model 2010 hyosung gt250r?
I want to get this bike, please reply by saying .....

He can read the bike's specs and look at you at the same time
@Istoderescu1 na just heard very positive things about it from a few bike review mags.
i'm not sure if i want to buy this or not, a lot of good and bad reviews

Seat change and different handlebars can fix that.
It wouldn't pull you out of bed
What if someone knows how to ride 600cc-1000cc but is broke. What's best for them? Lol
this guy looks like Dustin Hoffman
Как перевести на Русский ???????????? Тоже владею таким но в России нет обзоров на этот мотоцикл !!!
Seems kind of expensive for a 250, the Ninja 250 and CBR 250 are only 3,600 - 4,300.
they always put shorter people to make the bike look nice and big
Stell Shazzy Frime
Think of Hyosung as Hyundai and Kawasaki as Toyota. One is clearly built to last and is more reliable.
Umm I don't think so both the CBR and the Ninja are around $8000 a peice.. this is the cheaper of the three
ok thanks,i will thin about baying this, bether solution is hornet 600 :) sorry for my bad english
Id say so :) But sit on it :P Never get a bike without sitting on it!
right speakers feeling lonly
@guguifurtado Uh, same shit actually :D.

@innamoratissimo 49.
Im sure it doesn't compare.
It looks nice but problems are : built in china, air cooled
inverted fork cough
arrowstax
fix the sound only in left.... let us see better clips than this... and all i can say is NINJA!
@CannonRoadPilot you mean cynical
Sounds like a scooter
rear looks disgust
Nothing compared to a cbr250rr
