As someone who has recently become disabled things defo get worse as I got older yet it’s given me more time to focus on my backlog. Just smashed out over 100 hours in Xenoblade Chronicles … silver lining and all that.

Noice. I played all three after getting ADHD meds for the first time lol. 3 is my favorite, and I'm in a forever-war against fans of 2.
Iv "recently" became disabled aswell bud. I say recently its been 2yrs but seams like only yesterday to me. Im still not used 2 not being able 2 work, but the switch helps kill my time when the pain is to much to get up and move around.
Unfortuneatly my backlog is so huge i just dont seam 2 me makeing a dent in it even with the extra play time im putting in lol 🤣

Agreed on the handheld Another’s Crab Adventure take. It’s always like 360p30-20fps portably. I had to raise GPU clocks with OC to 2x and while I can now get locked 30fps, there’s huge areas that still tank the resolution too much. Terrible.
Another Crab's Treasure handheld performance is the reason I haven't bought it yet. I'm sure the devs are busy fixing what they can across multiple platforms and being such a small team of 12 it must be hard but I still weep that I can't play it yet. I guess it will be pretty cheap by the time I can so perhaps I'll call that a win 😅
the last update (Update 0.11.64.2) made it a lot more palatable on handheld. framerate largely decent
I'm saving my $$ in hope that the Gex Trilogy remaster is truly coming to Switch and maybe one day Croc will too. However these videos are invaluable regardless, so thank you SwitchUp. Happy Birthday Mark, hope you had/have a day as awesome as this channel, cheers mate!

In JP, we also got Monster Hunter XX at a whooping 990¥ (75 and a bit %off), MH Rise at 990¥ (also 75%off, or with sun break dlc at 2446¥ - 65%off). All 3 sales goes for another 8 days.
The Biohazard games (Resident Evil in the west) are all going for 990¥ as well.
Another solid series of picks are on the JRPG section with Triangle Strategy at 3840¥ (50%off 9 days remaining).
There’s also the “of Mana” series titles on sale, all at 60% off.
Seiken Densetsu Collection (collection of the SNES era first 3 games of the series) at 2112¥ (title in the west for the collection is “Collection of Mana”, as in “of Mana”). Includes Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana and Trials of Mana. The later is the Super Famicon version, first time released on the west through this collection. Not to be confused with the 2020 3D remake released for the Switch, PlayStation 4 and Windows, which is also on sale for 2631¥.
Seiken Densetsu: Legend of Mana is at 1408¥, it’s an HD remaster of the original 1999-2000 PlayStation title.
You talking about savaloy reminded me also that Civ VI is in an all time low at 90% off in Japan for 330¥ until the 29th with its extra content DLC also at huge discounts, Complete Edition going for 3080¥, a 65% off.
If you into more of a visual novel, intrigue and murder and never played the Phoenix Wright: Ace attorney games then now is a good time to add to the backlog too, as all but Miles Edgeworth+Prosecutor’s gambit bundle are on sale until the 2nd of July.
The Ace Attorney series are on sale, the 1.2.3 collection at 990¥ (66% off), 4.5.6 at 4792¥ (20%off) or as a bundle of the two for 5242¥ (25%off the original price, but the same as buying both of them on the current individual discount). Great Ace Attorney Chronicles (which is the Adventures and Resolve in one bundle) for 1996¥ (60% off).
Oh and some beat’em ups with Friends of Ringo Ishikawa and Arrest of a Stone Buddha. Both of them in Japan are going for 1125¥ (individually they are 750¥ each). They look like simple side scrolling brawler/beat ‘em ups from old SNES 90s era but it’s a lot more deeper than that. Yeah you can turn yourself off and just go ham at it if you want to but the storytelling is pretty great and a good time overall for such a cheap price. Definitely must grab if you can. But gotta hurry. Japan eshop sale going only for another 2 days.

Just one minor correction, the sale on Metroid Remaster is 15% off, it’s Metroid Dread that is actually 30% off. Personally I think 15% is ridiculous of a sale for a game that’s been out for a long time. They should have had 30% off at the very least. I really wish to get this game, but guess I’ll wait for a better sale or a used copy.

Your video quality seems higher in this than I remember from the B-Roll game footage to the titles. Maybe I'm just noticing now but I've been hoping you guys would increase the video output resolution for a while (especially going into the new generation soon). Good to see even if I'm mistaken. Keep up the great work and until the next Switch id absolutely love more Interesting games videos with you and Glen and also have some topic suggestions for discussion videos: Your personal highlights from the Switch generation so far: Looking back what games stand out in your minds from the Switch generation and why? What are your favorite games both from the big triple A and well known indies to the smaller more personal picks that maybe didn't get universal acclaim or much coverage at all? What are your favorite indie studios and what are they working on? What is their pedigree in past games that makes you optimistic for their future? Team Cherry is a free response but we have Concerned Ape still waiting to follow up Stardew Valley with The Haunted Chocolatier which they showed off at least a year ago and has been quiet since. We also have Mina The Hollower! Above and beyond Silk Song I'm even more excited for Mina the Hollower from Yacht Club games! It's like a combo that mostly top down Zelda but with a Castlevania spirit also dashed in there and the art style is I'm-freaking-peccable best of the best. We haven't heard as much about Mina the Hollower OR The Haunted Chocolatier as we have about Silk song. Last topic as I've gotten off the rails of my suggestion here: it would be cool to hear your early speculations and discussion of what you expect or theorize AND what you personally would like to see from features to specs to games on the Switch 2. Basically what I'm saying is I want to hear you and Glen talk about all the things. Also would be interested to see a one off little retrospective video maybe for a game you guys covered from a dev you've talked to that would be interested in sharing information to talk about development process on Switch and inspirations for making their game(s).
