This one was a very well known folk song, and she also gave it her own spin (Sohyang tends to do that when covering any song). For next, I'd suggest either Lean on Me (the one with Micheal Bolton present) or Bridge over troubled water. Yes, that was a great reaction video. I kind of made it my hobby to watch Sohyang reaction videos. So good. The jaw drops, eyes, surprised faces, disbelief of what people hear and how it makes them feel is quite astonishing. Sohyang's vocal color and capabilities, her story telling ability, musicality, and how she conveys emotions are outstanding, very unique and engaging. From the interviews of her that I watched I think I have an idea why. Much respect for her.

If you watch her cover of Lean On Me, you can get a real flavor of her gospel root. You are also correct about Sohyang being herself rather than Mariah of South Korea. Although the nickname is meant to be a compliment for her outstanding ability to do high belts, it doesn't nearly convey what Sohyang is about as a singer.
