Well to clarify for all three of you. Lead was used commonly in pencils from conception, when the effects of how poisonous the element was, was learned then the switch to graphite was made. For exact years I suggest further research. It is highly unlikely to get lead poisoning from the modern day pencil. I can not say absolute certain that it is impossible, since I do believe a small portions of lead are still mixed in for some reason.

To take it apart keep the dots lined up and twist it upside down so the dots are toward the ground, then tap it on your hand. The most important thing is make sure the dots stay aligned.
There is a trick to the last part. Once the two dots are aligned, Invert the puzzle so that the Revomaze logo is pointing down and tilt the puzzle about 45 degrees so that the main body is lower than the center shaft. Now, while holding the shaft, gently (sometimes harder) tap the main body on a relatively hard surface like a carpet or piece of wood that you don't care about damaging. Once the pin becomes loose, the center shaft should slide right out. Hope this helps and that the explanation wasn't too confusing.

This is a good puzzle and it's a progress based puzzle so a logical approach, exactly like the way you planned it, guarantees succeeding at it. I don't know how soon you considered using calipers and measuring but I don't think I'd have thought of it until later on after a few steps and then coming back to it later as a solution always comes to the calmer mind. The longevity of this puzzle would be vastly improved if it was made in a way that there were changeable puzzle sleeves that fitted the inner core and could be swapped out or even exchanged with other people who have a different puzzle. If the longer and more difficult puzzles changed in direct response to your actions, that would be a great feature.

Nope. The desmodromic hub operates on the gears of gearshitf. It´s not a free piece as into this video. If you shift wrong, the gears can be damaged. You can move the desmodromic to increase and reduce your gear speed with the clutch. But the operating mechanism is totally similar.
The only reason this is a 4/5 is because revomaze makes the same type of puzzles that are even more difficult. If revomaze only made this puzzle it would be 5/5

I would suggest a very fine needle file to smooth the holes the pins are supposed to drop into at the end. Take just one stroke, remove fillings with compressed air, check the fit, repeat as needed until the pin moves freely. It shouldn't take much.

As far as I understand, the pins are not spring loaded. Would it be possible to escape a trap by holding the puzzle‘s axis vertically and spinning the barrel in order to move the pins out of the trap by centrifugal force? Also, if you hold the barrel horizontally with the pin axes parallel to the ground, there would be no force to pull any of the pins into a trap, no?
I’m from Texas USA, aber ich kann deutsch und ich liebe deine Videos mein Freund mein Opa hat mir deutsch gelernt er war in Deutschland 1944 mach weiter so mein Freund!!
I've loved puzzles of all types since I was very little. Now this is calling my name! Stopping video, so I don't spoil the challenge! I'll come back after i get this for myself. Thanks for an excellent channel. New subscriber here. 😘
I'm stuck for one year with the bronze before the euro or Star Trek sign (managed the pool and Jacuzzi all right), so yes if you could show how you map a dynamical one, that would be great, without too many spoilers.
Try using centripetal force to spin the pins outward and release. When you’re at the end of the puzzle, don’t spin the inner maze core, spin the entire large cylinder (as one piece) by rolling it like a baker’s rolling pin on a table. Rolling/spinning it really quickly could spin the pins outward and release them from the center cylinder. Just a thought. I’ve never held one of these, so I have no idea if this would actually work. Also, maybe put a little WD40 on the pin holes so they slide in and out more easily. It shouldn’t ruin the puzzle, as the pins releasing the inner cylinder won’t open it without the maze being solved (I think).
+justin galley Yep that is what all puzzles are. Some people enjoy the challenge of being frustrated but having the discipline to continue. The amount of satisfaction you get from solving a frustrating thing is immense.
I guess that's the intrigue of puzzles.... not for everyone. Personally, I can't wait to get my hands on this thing. Patiently waiting n the mailman as I type this.
OswaldOriginal he just wanted to translate what was going on in the puzzle onto the grid paper and used the math to do it. Technically you could do it free hand but the math makes it easier.
Solved it years ago and then found one on display in a store and opened it pretending I had just seen it. Freaked out a bunch of people. It was a fun "mental model" experience.
I thought the same at first but the pins have to go in not out, so using centrifugal force to move the pins won't work. You need to align pins with the holes in the shaft. One of the holes is slightly larger than the other. Get the pin to fall in the smaller hole first, then turn the cylinder just a fraction of a fraction of a millimeter so the one pin won't fall back into the outer casing and the other pin can fall into the other hole. Then pull the whole thing out.
No one said it existed. It is an outward force apparent in a rotating reference frame. I.E the force that would be felt on the pins if you spun the puzzle around like a top/centrifuge. It does not exist, yet it can be measured.

It´s similar to motorbikes gearshift.
So if you shift a motorbike wrong, does it take you back to where you started?
Nope. The desmodromic hub operates on the gears of gearshitf. It´s not a free piece as into this video. If you shift wrong, the gears can be damaged. You can move the desmodromic to increase and reduce your gear speed with the clutch. But the operating mechanism is totally similar.

I really want to buy it but the website isn´t working :( Do sombody know why ? Or is it just a problem from my side ?
Ach der Kreis. Keys Kreis? 2 Jahre zu spät. Verdammnt^^
The pin need to move inside the center. 🤔😕
The pin used for navigation is spring loaded. The other pin doesn't do anything other then hold the core in the shaft.
Seriously this is Nutty That anyone would put so much effort and time from their life into figuring out somebody else’s puzzle
so thats how Germans solves puzzles XD
the master race
🤣
I’m from Texas USA, aber ich kann deutsch und ich liebe deine Videos mein Freund mein Opa hat mir deutsch gelernt er war in Deutschland 1944 mach weiter so mein Freund!!
Danke, dein deutsch ist wirklich sehr gut!
Yeah and I’m from ct and I know german

SHINNYYY. love that song.
MOANAAA
Perfect_Poop nope.
Imagine if it had a trap at the very end and you you're like yeah I'm about to finish and bang you need to start again 😂😂 I would have gone maaad xD
That would be a great one 😂
Draab07 Kay 6
but you should be fine as long as you mapped it out like he did
Very remarkable sir, I just don't see how anyone could do this without using the method you used. Well done.
1-11 minutes is litterally just him saying "then you fall into da trap" and measuring things
Navigating Vietnam in a nutshell.
this guy's a geniouse one of the reasons i love his vidioes
Lol "geniouse". You a funny guy.
I've loved puzzles of all types since I was very little. Now this is calling my name! Stopping video, so I don't spoil the challenge! I'll come back after i get this for myself. Thanks for an excellent channel. New subscriber here. 😘
I'm convinced 80% of these commentators would try to put out a fire by throwing their fire extinguisher at it.
You mean your not sapost to do that ?
It doesn't work?
And I thought fire extinguishers were for when you eat hot peppers...
The more you know :o
What's a fire extinguisher?
That one friend who invites you to play a new game and then doesn't let you learn how to play, nice name
Your voice makes these videos so charming, the puzzles are intriguing too of course, love these videos 😊
When Mr. puzzle said shit, it's like jesus christ saying shit, I got confused a little bit?! lol 😁
rvfjone mmm a weird ideation
rvfjone when?
After he falls into the trap at 15:16 he says a naughty word.
@Mr.Puzzle When will you post bronze review ?
You mean centrifugal force, which is outwards. Centripetal is the force towards the center.
You're a beast dude. Always going to be my favorite UA-camr.
So cool! 😁
This doesn't look fun at all, it just seems like a frustrating trial and error time killer
This is just the easy one to get used to it.
Mr.Puzzle I can't even imagine spending 60 hours on the harder maze like it says!

Yep that is what all puzzles are.
I actually found this puzzle fascinating. You did a good job of explaining it, I might give it a go.
opening these light sabre's is hard work....
Who else didn't get that calculation 😂
me
You mean where he calculated the circumference of a circle? lol
The hardest part was him Calculating the circumference and all you need to know for that is how to use pi
Yeet
I did not get anything he was talking about
OswaldOriginal he just wanted to translate what was going on in the puzzle onto the grid paper and used the math to do it. Technically you could do it free hand but the math makes it easier.
I've never been fascinated by math before, but I love puzzles so this is awesome!
Interesting way of solving the puzzle I didnt even think to do it that way, I just solved it by feeling lol.
Video starts at 3:35
*You Welcome*
Solved it years ago and then found one on display in a store and opened it pretending I had just seen it. Freaked out a bunch of people. It was a fun "mental model" experience.
I think you're meant to spin the puzzle at the to put both the pins in their slots.
Then pull the whole thing out.
hmmmm
Centrifugal force literally does not exist
No one said it existed. It is an outward force apparent in a rotating reference frame. I.E the force that would be felt on the pins if you spun the puzzle around like a top/centrifuge. It does not exist, yet it can be measured.
lilypop! He means centripetal force.
