Amg straight said that there wasn't a theme for experimental droids, and they just wanted to put the mechanics in, but "AMG bad" is the casts main schtik now so i get it.
I know you guys don't care about skirmish, but both these forces seem really good in 500pts. The droid one with 3 BX commandos and swords can just rush and murder anything on the small map.
I dont agree. Did you ever play bx commandos with swords? Even in skirmish they need to tank 1 shot. If they dont have a good save and lose 1/2 models their dicepool is already decimated. Also their dicepools are more swingy with the whites in there I would argue.
2regular magna guards are still my preferred way to play skirmish alongside a stronger melee character.

I'd like to see Block become Melee only and make Grevious a Droid Trooper
Block is only for characters with spinning blades that deflect anything, its why GG and the Inquisitors have it. Also GG is not a droid so no...

Chewie and 10 units of naked Wookiees is only 99 wounds
I took Chewie, 3 naked melee wooks, 2 melee with battle shields, and 3 bowcaster shooty wooks to a local and went 3-0. It’s a blast to run. Will it win worlds? Maybe not but I think Wookie defenders is A tier for sure. The battle deck is just great
Strangely most school teachers contracts have a two to one deal made. Hence working 1 extra day earns 2 days of snow days. So it's kind of a gamble. Have 5 snow days you break even.
Talking about battle forces, if the UA-cam channel the Jodo cast gets to 5k subs by the end of February 2024 he will play bright tree at world's and if he hits 7k he will do it in a ewok costume. Please help him get there it would be amazing!
