Ikr. I work at industry and we use caustic soda in some of the processes.
I once took a sample from pipeline and didn't realise that the gloves were contaminated.
Once I got inside to the breakroom I had an itch on my eye so I rubbed my eyes.
Holy shit it was horrible. My both eyes turned very dark red and could barely see anything.
Took over an hour of constant washing to get a relief.
