with due respect qaiser. i am more satisfied with khalid sb's arguments, especially regarding system change. bohat sare bande voting ko democracy samajhte hain jo k galat hai, voting aik process hai like bayat krna. jis k liye voting hoti hai woh cheez voting ko halal ya haram krti hai for exm. aik class main 10 students hain aur agar teacher kehta hai k kon mujhe surah naas sunaye ga tu voting jaiz ho gi lakin same voting agar gana(song) sunane k liye ki jai tu haram ho gi. as simple. i hope you understand

However, I'm currently confused by some of your statements in a few podcasts and discussions, such as the one about Khalid Mehmood Abbas and the EON podcast with Sahil. In these discussions, you repeatedly mention that we need to go through a revival mode to bring an Islamic system, using Turkey as an example of how they are gradually adopting a system similar to an Islamic order. In that discussion, you refer to Iran's revolution as an incomplete system of an Islamic order. Recently with what's going on with PTI, i think it's pretty much clear how strong the position of establishment is behind electorial process. And they are never going to let it a true democracy be implemented in Pakistan because that way, they'll loose control over the state. How do you think we can fight that?

The misconception is that materialism is the direct product of liberalism, this is incorrect. Materialism is the result of social and cultural relationships being reduced to economic pressures. You cannot argue that the ottoman empire, and the many Islamic principalities that were contemporaneous, or preceded it, advocated against materialism. The capture of Circassian women to sell into slavery and kidnapping of boys from the balkans, to forcefully recruit into Janissary service does not indicate a non-materialist approach to politics and socio-cultural formation. You are selling a red herring to Pakistanis, yes, the West is materialistic, but you are in a very rude awakening if you think Islamic modes of political governance can provide rational and humane alternatives to the current global order. Also, pining for a reformist brand of Islam is a hollow enterprise because it cannot provide us the analytical tools to create a modern and inclusive state. Also Islamic revivalist movements in India were dominated by themes of cultural imperialism and the social homogenization of diverse peoples in India, syed Barelvi and Shah Dehwali need only to be read to understand the imperial appetite of these revivalist movements. You are further leading the Pakistani youth down a dead end, Zia ul Haq style. Islamic reformism cannot work if it insists on adopting a chauvanistic attitude towards the cosmic absoluteness of Islam, you are setting up young Pakstanis for catastrophic failure. It is sad that every generation of Pakistanis are subjected to this ideological assault, this foreclosed their futures before they have even had a chance to grow. Also, I would urge you to read some economics before suggesting that the interest systems be removed. Are you aware of the problems around that? limited access of capital, catastrophically higher rates of inflation, sluggish economic growth, how will you control complex variables in the market if you cannot increase of decrease the interest rate? how will middle class people buy cars and build homes? are you aware of the complex risk sharing mechanisms that need to be created to operate in a non intetest based economy? very irresponsible demagoguery on your part. You seriously need to start debating people who will challenge your preposterous ideas.
