GHS 135-4-4100 E Type Telescopic Cylinder Assembly | Step-by-Step Technical Guide

In this video, you can learn step by step the assembly process of the GHS 135-4-4100 E type telescopic cylinder. The assembly process starts with checking the stage compression. Before the nutring and dust seal are installed, the body bearings are placed and each stage is assembled in turn and checked for free movement. The nutring is placed in the correct position with the groove facing inwards; it should be kept in mind that oil leakage may occur when installed upside down.
For all stages, outer rings, nutring and dust seal are placed respectively and tightness checks are performed. Head O-ring is carefully inserted and thread stabiliser is applied. The head is tightened clockwise and fixed with setscrew bolt. The calf eye apparatus and circlip are installed and plastic protectors, bleed bolt and grease fittings are mounted.
In the last step, the rear cover is lubricated and assembled with O-ring and body wire ring. With the help of the puller, the cover is pulled up to the circlip and the connections are completed.
