I find Benegal's movie better than Ray, ....ray 's is dry like adoor lacked entertainment.we can sometimes get that type of story even if you run video on street or your own home it will sprout something.Its like a difference as in poetry and song. A wonderful song with meaning and great music and voice will always be above poetry recitation!

Legendary director martin scorsese said his idol is Ray. Ray's level of cinematography was way ahead of its time.
