I randomly found your channel the other day when I was looking for some Saratoga Springs videos. Today your Animal Kingdom vlog popped up as a suggestion. I am a DVC owner at both SSR and AKV and enjoy watch vlogs of the resorts when I am between trips and missing WDW. Thanks for the videos.
It's such a pretty resort, thank you for sharing such great detailed information. You guys must have slept well that night! Truly enjoying these resort vlogs!
What you got was a obstructed savanna view, meaning you pay for standard room but get a partial savanna view. There is only a handful of rooms that are like that and you got 1. I do believe you can ask about night goggles to see the animals at night but not 100% sure. Im a dvc member and this is my home resort. Love it , so much to do there and feels more relaxing than most resorts. There is another parking lot over at Kidani Village, under the rooms. Cant remember if there is one under Jambo House. Kidani village is alittle more quieter and is mainly for dvc members but can still book there. Also, the rooms at kidani are alittle bigger and if you get a 1 or 2 bedroom villa, they come with 2 and 3 bathrooms. The pool is better at Kidani but less amenities. The buses pick you up and drop you off 1st at Kidani for theme parks and reverse for disney springs.Pros and Cons to both buildings but the pros certainly out do the cons. I believe Bay lake tower and Kidani village are the only resorts that have an extra bathroom which is good if you have a big family staying. Nothing like getting a Savanna View and have a coffee in the morning watching animals. I do agree that the Mara is smaller compared to those that arent but the other restuarants make up for it. Boma is my favorite. Enjoyed the video, hope you enjoyed the stay.
Looks fantastic. I always wanted to stay here. Unfortunately I can not deal with the heat so I doubt I will be there anytime soon. Look forward to seeing more tours!

We will be back in Orlando the weekend of August 16-18 after our cruise on the Utopia of the Seas. I hope we can meet up again!

Jambo friends!! This hotel also has the largest collection of African art outside of Africa. It also has the largest collection of African wines outside of Africa at Jiko
I have to ask, as our family wants to try this resort out on one of our visits! Do you notice an animal smell at all throughout the resort or mainly outside around Savannah? Thank you so much I love the videos!!

Not gonna lie Animal Kingdom Lodge does not make my top 5 Disney world resorts but it is fun and extremely well themed

About the swimming pool. If it was too big with lots of slides , it would lose its relaxing atmosphere.
