I went to the grand prismatic spring and it's astounding at boardwalk level but it is truly magnificent from the air

The calm waters of the crater seem absolutely beautiful. Its scary to know how hot it really is, to the point where no bacteria can survive. No wonder thousands of people visit the yellow stone. The billions of the tiny orange microbe create dramatic flame like pattern which makes this look beyond stunning. It is mazing to know that it is the largest hot spring in the USA and 3rd in the world!

Actually the colourful bands are not bacteria, but archaea, a different type of microbe. Most extremophile microbes belong to this category.

Also they only got so colourful, because tourrists threw stuff into the pond.
"Morning Glory was once a deep blue, like the flower it’s named after. Over the years, however, tourists have tossed lucky coins, rocks, and other debris into the pool, partially blocking the underground heat source and lowering the temperature of the spring to a range habitable by photosynthetic microorganisms that probably didn’t live there before."

¿The grand prismatic spring could make eruption too or not?

I hope they would build some watch towers around the pools. You simply can't fully appreciate the beauty of these pools from the height of the boardwalks.

If you take the Fairy Falls hike, you can view it from an outpost on the mountain beside it. Much better view.

Not exactly true. No drone flight can capture the "prismatic" view of the pool on a cold morning with bright sunlight unless it comes down to the sidewalk altitude. The steam reflects the color of the pool back upon the viewer; the experience is transcendent.
That being said, I think adding some watchtowers would be brilliant, but somewhat troublesome to use. Vast numbers of people visit that every year. Throngs going up and down stairs would be a health hazard, but I really like the idea.

Don't let its calm blue color fool you. The core of Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park is so hot that not even the heartiest of bacteria can survive.
