Awww, thank you for the kind words! Means a lot coming from you, since I really respect your opinions! Gonna get Southern Reach (since you insisted before this) and also Light--it's one of the Masterworks, actually!
Area X is a great recommendation for Liam. Ha! If only I was well read and knew what I was talking about. 😂 But thanks for the recommendation. Gaiman is on my list to get to sometime hopefully sooner than later. I have Neverwhere, but have yet to read it. I’ll put American Gods on the list. 👍🏼 -T
I'm touched that you think I'm well read. Glad you liked the rec. It was a bit hard, since you've read a good amount of fantasy. I thought you'd appreciate Gaiman's approach in American Gods.
Hey thanks for the rec Britton. I’m not sure what my family will think when I take Lolita with to the family Christmas party (“hey kids! Uncle Sam is going to read us a story!!”😂😂😂) But I’ll grab a copy and give it a read!
I hope you enjoy them when you get around to them. You may also enjoy Borne, which I actually think is VanderMeer's best book...or at least it's my favorite so far, aside from Authority.
True Grit has been on my TBR for a while! I agree, that’s a Western that I think will jive with me. Thanks for bringing it back to my attention! I’ve never been called a picky reader before 😂

And I appreciate the kind words from you too! I hope you enjoy Light!

It’s all good Britton, the winter sniffles hit everyone hard
It's the worst.

Yeah, probably not a good idea to read that to the kiddies. 😂😂
I haven’t read Ellroy- thanks for the recommendation! I’ll definitely check him out. I think Tori will like True Grit too.
He's definitely harder edged than Lehane, but I think you'll appreciate what he does. He's a great writer.
Noted, Southern Reach. I enjoyed the little Vandermeer I’ve read so I can believe it 😃

Hey thanks for the recommendation! I've been meaning to read it for years. I've heard nothing but great things.
I hope you enjoy it when you get to reading it.

I probably should have used a better word, do show some grace, I was under the weather when I recorded this video.
Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy True Grit.
I second this Tori. I also love True Grit and think it will be a hit with you!
@@iSamwise I have it on my TBR!
Quilluminati is reading Mystic River so might be a good time to pick up Dennis Lehane ;)
Do ittt.
