The fact 4-5 people helped that lady officer, helped get him in cuffs, all get up at the same time, LITERALLY walk away saying nothing is the most gta 5 npc thing i have ever seen in real life.
😂😂😂
Lmao I didn't notice that till you said something
I guess I was like that once. I helped stop a high speed chase once begetting in front of the guy and blocking him as I came to a full stop, making the bad guy stop as well. Once the cops had him at gun point I just pulled away without ever speaking to the cops. LOL.
I didn’t want to have to be a witness on the stand or anything.
🤣🤣i didn't think about that until you said jt. I went back and you're so right! I'm cracking up! Good looking out!
I wouldn't have noticed if i didn't see your comment 😂
The dude that rescued that baby has some badass qualities.
That officer was doing nothing in that fire situation in Mesa. Just standing there while kids and a mom are dying. Thank God for that good Samaritan

The police man was useless in 1st clip, he let citizen risk his life to rescue children while he stood back... The police man didn't make any attempt disgusting
That first dude showed the cop up, just instantly went into action and saved lives. Cop likely woulda waited without someone taking action before
I feel like you’re right…😢
Some people shouldn't be cops
Sad fact is, is that these professions have rules you have to follow first. They are trained for safety, and procuations.
Bystanders are not held to those principles, and will react recklessly. I make that sound bad, but recklessness is effective.
But, we don't pay cops to be recklessly risking their lives 24/7.
@@alondor8157 we pay them to do nothing anymore, they don't even have a fitness test.
@@bobbywalker2980 Well, clearly they do stuff. Such a weird comment.
I laughed my ass off at 14:08 when everyone just immediately dips without saying a word after just body piling that dude. Honestly, everyone in this video was pretty great to see. Legitimate heroes and I love to see it.
I assume they were expecting a "thanks guys" or something like that. Haha
I love how the one woman starts scolding him like a child while everyone is pinning him down
I guess he ”tried that in a small town”.

He must be the local asshat, and everyone wanted a piece.
This hero did not NEED A LADDER - he was doing the thing while everyone else was talking about it. May God bless him and his family ❤
Cops on average carry an extra 30-40 pounds of gear and aren’t paid enough for that bullshit. Please try jumping a fence with a full duty belt and body armor, radio. Backup gun. Your personal items. Please shut the fuck up.
Hell naw, why aren’t the parents in there? Parents too scared to save their own kids crazy.
God should have helped him out, or better still prevent the fire in the first place. Blessing him after the fact isn't impressive, especially for the presumed creator of the Universe. That's something I could do.. Watch this.. "May you be blessed sir for saving that baby"... see? Not impressive right?

That woman officer knew that the citizen was not going to let that guy go. I don’t know what she would’ve done if that awesome guy helped. She needed some BIGTIME muscle. He was so skilled very impressive!
And her worthless ass should be fired
That guy clearly knew BJJ. He had total control over the grapple. He clearly could have seriously hurt that man or choked him out but showed a lot of restraint.
@@Elthenar I know I watched it a few times. The 2nd big move he did when the suspect flipped. Good guy twists his arm as then holds down the other when she was screaming he’s going for my gun. First cop should've gave his mask to the guy
He should have actually TRIED to do something other than bark orders...
@@ericlaing435 And scoop the baby to get the credit lol
Cop was more concerned with wearing a mask 300ft away from the fire than he was with anyone or anything else
He should've tried to do literally ANYTHING other than stand there and pretend to be the hero
As a retired Deputy and Firefighter, I have to agree.
"I got the girl out"
No you didn't. The civilian got BOTH kids out. Stepped up faster and more brave than he did. No big deal until he acted like HE saved them.
It's probably easier for dispatch or whoever they talk to on the radio to comprehend the situation.
He'd be better assigned to the traffic division, directing cars during rush hour. Even I could yell "give me the baby" and grab it over a fence, and I'm a weakling, I saw sweat on the back of his right hand, but he wasn't running that fast and walked half the time. Yes, he had to keep dispatch informed, but we have all seen cops who risked more when the innocent were in jeopardy. I'd like to think there were more things going on than the video showed.
@@MarySanchez-qk3hp looked like that was from the water sprayed on the fire, not sweat.
You know what it doesn't matter who saved those kids what matters is that those kids are safe
The cops got no award the guy did they clearly know who the hero was he just meant to dispatch that hes got the kid smh
My heart literally stopped when I saw the insane amount of smoke coming out of the window. This man is a hero and earns a shipload of respect.
That first female cop would’ve been screwed if the Good Samaritan hadn’t stopped to help her , that guy would have injured her badly or possibly killed her . She was totally unable to stop contain him in any way , she could barely even get him cuffed with the other guy holding him down .
And the guy who saved those babies was awesome, a true hero. But I was stunned to see the officer standing back behind the fence yelling to other by standers that there was children inside , and he needed a ladder, all while maintaining a safe distance. He made no effort himself to help those babies , he only got closer to the building itself after the guy saved the children. Thank God for the brave man who stepped in and done what needed to be done to save them.
That first officer was straight scared. Hear it in his voice when he was asking for a ladder. He’s definitely wearing the badge for the ‘Prestige’ and “Look at Me!” effect!
@@kingaich I mean, part of it is also because the fire department are the ones trained to handle going into fire, while police deal with everything else. Regardless of how seasoned or new he might've been, that's still something that's most likely not included in his training at all, so in a way I can't blame him. Basically stuck in a position where his mind is racing and he's unsure of what to do, because they might die if he leaves, but he also clearly didn't know where a ladder was, which is why he threw rocks at the window.
That first one brought tears to my eyes. Dude is a true hero. While the police was running around, acting like he was trying to help" asking for a latter" the true hero took it over. Bless you brother.
100% Agree, police was all talk no action.
Johnathan did it all.
Me too . Superman shit

That cop should be ashamed of himself! The guy had more compassion and saved those children, he risk his life!!😭🙏
that one dude has some solid jiujitsu skills

That woman needed better training. She was not handling him very well.
@@The3LetterAgencythat women was pregnant and idk why she was on active duty pregnant
The first one was so wholesome. He thought of his own daughter when he heard the kids in the building. Parents have a different kind of love when it comes to their children or children who are in danger ❤
The third one made me smile. Those two will be best friends forever. I bet they still get together to this day. Garcia should be very proud of himself for saving those police officers’ lives. 🥹
3:10 “come here kids come here” actually made me bawl my eyes out. he is a good man and deserves the world.
That guy in the first video is like a real life Superman, he’s a guy every kid on this planet should look up to, his bravery is above and beyond. I teared up when he saved that baby’s life.
yes indeed
True, it’s amazing how he saved them! ❤
“I NEEDD A LADDERRRR!” Like give me a break.
Helping others should be normal, the problem is our society don't encourages that, that's sad, imagine dying on the floor in public and no one help you...
"I need a ladder" Really?? Hasn't the officer heard of giving a boost to someone or stand on someone's shoulders or back. Thank goodness for Mr. Baez who acted and not talked about what he needs.
The cop probably had fire scene training, because he did exactly what the fire department would've told him to do. Never open a window if you aren't 100% sure that bedroom door is closed. If it wasn't, those kids were dead.
@@Kevin-gg2blthe cop literally broke the window

Koubeck was my patient. Screw HIPAA. He’s been nuts since day 1. So glad I retired.
All of these citizens deserve an award for their bravery.
However, I'd like to ask why a pregnant officer would be on duty? That's beyond dangerous for not only for herself but also to her baby. Think of the little being inside of you first before your job. Yes, money is important, but your wellbeing and the baby's is worth more than a couple hundred bucks.
I hope Verbeck apologised to the victim! What a sh*tty way to treat someone who's just been robbed at gunpoint!😠
It obviously is horrible that he was shot but maybe things would’ve been different if he had listened to the victim in the first place.
@@montaredpanda8095I yeah, I’d feel worse for him if he weren’t a prejudiced moron who assumes everyone young and minority must be involved in crime. That affected his effectiveness as an officer.
no thats so real tho.
and that verbeck guy nerly died to recover his PlayStation so stfu
@kaelren4120 Nobody needs to "stfu" when they're speaking facts.
The victim was traumatised after being robbed at gunpoint and Verbeck spoke to him like he was an inconvenience and accused him of doing something wrong and being a gang member - purely because of where he was robbed.
Also, he didn't "nerly (sic) died to recover his PlayStation". He nearly died because he acted like an absolute moron. He spent forever grilling the victim, yet never questioned why the suspects didn't use that time to get away? Also, that grilling was for his ego - he wasn't questioning the victim properly and listening to the answers so that he could accurately ascertain the threat level posed. A combination of those things made him take another officer and walk them both into an obvious ambush that could have got them both killed.
Nobody's condoning an officer getting shot, but policing is a dangerous business - made more dangerous when you act the fool, don't listen, don't follow your training, and make stupid decisions that put the lives of multiple officers at risk.
Retrieving stolen goods didn't nearly kill him, his lack of professionalism did.
19:00 That officer was a jerk for treating this victim like a co-conspirator.
And got shot cause he did not believe the danger was real.............
yeah u right
Yea that made me mad too.
Can't believe he prioritized the possibility of drug trading and shit instead of an ARMED ROBBERY and possible danger to OTHER CITIZENS!!! What the fuck are they training these policemen for?!
This is the bad cop gets karma, but luckily saved because of his uniform
Dude is a REAL MAN and a hero. Straight into the fire for others who can’t defend themselves. God bless you sir.
that female cop had no control over that suspect or situation and literally let him almost take her gun with ZERO RESISTANCE
You couldn't really see what she was doing so how do you know there was zero resistance. She was not deploying the tazer because of the civ in contact with the man, it would also taze him from being in contact.
Mr. Johnathan Baez, you sir are a confirmed & verified pure & true hero. When others froze up, didn’t know what to do, or wasted precious time, you dropped in with your invisible cape from seemingly nowhere & took decisive action. You did it without regard for your own life or safety in exchange for the salvation of those little girls who were in desperate need of a prayer. As God works in mysterious ways, you answered the calling.
Agree, this guy is outstanding in courage and care for these children❤❤❤
You have to do it. My best friend in high school? I had to find her before cell phones.
You are at a pay phone trying to remember numbers. I physically assaulted a guy twice my weight. My friends had to drag me in the car.
You are working off adrenaline. It’s how moms lift cars.
@@Jeremy-ff3jmLmao such bullshit. You have videos from soldiers (like in Ukraine) rolling over obstacles and navigating much more difficult terrain - in much more stressful circumstances - wearing the same amount of gear (if not heavier). @@darthnihilus2729forreal Smdh in the time it took for him to scream for a ladder he could have dropped the gear - he didn’t even try. standards are so damn low nowadays. excuses never ending
Yes .......A lot of your police are very unfit and quite a few are overweight and some are even obese . They would be terminated in my country if they did not get into shape in a given time . I think thats why your cops shoot suspects because they too unfit to chase them .
That cop talking to the stolen goods victim did NOT have to speak so aggressively like that. The dude was trying to tell him the issue but the officer kept interrupting. Like, slow down, let him speak, then focus on these extra details. Im glad he survived that gunfight but damn, dont make the victim feel like a suspect lmao
He kept acting like he was about to take matters into his own hands but from what's said he called the cops. Not exactly what you do when you're planing to be a vigilante. Cop seems to be judging him without cause
There is definitely a back story here.
Verbek is a verbal idiot. Time to retire, gramps.

Good thing the officer was there at the fire to record other people taking action to save the children.

Well its alot easier to understand over radios because theyre choppy right? So instead of saying something long like;
"Yeah this random civilian just took action and got the 2 girls out"
he cut it down to 4
Police Officers and our US military put their lives on the line to protect us every day that's why I have a huge amount of respect for them. I'm a former volunteer firefighter.
The cop dealing with the robbery was entering into Chief Wiggum territory there. I'm surprised he didn't take out his invisible typewriter to write up his report. He clearly did not like the victim.

This should be labeled:
When brave citizens, who should be cops, help save cops, who should be citizens
The cop isn’t a firefighter, and actual firefighters don’t want people doing reckless things because if they are hurt or trapped then the firefighters have another person to save on top of the fire.
While the civilians action is commendable it was reckless and could have led to worse consequences.
"I'm just gunna walk around and ask for a ladder while a citizen serves and protects" - the lack of urgency the officer was showing should be cause enough for dismissal.
🤣🤣 And he was the only one wearing a mask !!!!!!
The cop didn’t have the strength or agility to jump over the tall/flimsy fence, climb up to the window and get people out. Luckily young athletic guy was there to save the day. 🦹🏻♂️

Dude. The restraint not to hammer that guy is amazing. He had a free hand and never tried to hit the guy. What a saint. 😮
Not a woman, an officer. It happens to male officers too. All citizens who step up are heroes in my book.
Yeah, male or female you don't wanna be alone dealing with someone who is taking it personally like some of these idiots.
Yes, I think any male or female officers that are very small are without doubt more of a liability in a physical altercation than they are helpful. This used to be nearly universally accepted as common sense. Sadly somewhere along the way common sense was abandoned in favor of not hurting women's feelings and virtue signaling by those in charge.
The unchangeable truth of the matter is that the vast, vast majority of ponytail police are smaller and physically weaker than the male criminals they encounter and having one as your partner is without doubt a massive and occasionally a deadly liability. There is a reason few departments allow women to go on patrol solo in certain areas.
FWIW, if a man is smaller and weaker than 95% of the criminals on the street I feel the exact same way about letting him go out on patrol.
And she was pregnant at that 😮
the amount of times i've seen female cops making situations worse is a joke, just useless

My partner & I were evacuating residents from a high rise apartment building fire in 1969 before the fire department arrived. We managed to get ourselves turned around in the dense smoke and couldn’t figure out how to get ourselves out. I was more than glad to see those firefighters arrive in all their gear and get us out of there.
Your story could be an opportunity for a teaching moment here. When there's a fire, most people die from smoke inhalation, not the fire! Stay down close to the floor where the air is better, keep doors closed so you starve the fire of oxygen. Everyone should learn basic fire safety, and if they have kids, they should routinely rehearse escape routes so it's automatic.

The lady cop that needed 4 bystanders to secure the suspect but still didn't cuff him then needed a male cop's help and his handcuffs has the audacity to play victim saying " you don't do that to a woman" -she should be ashamed, and fired. In that uniform, you are not "a woman", you are a law officer and should be competent to be one. Equal rights to jobs and pay requires you to have equal competence!
yes and she sounded so unprofessional throughout the entire video.
imagine turning a couple hundred dollar ticket into a felony because you are stubborn at stupid times
Seems to me that he didn't want to be told what to do by a woman.
Female cops should never work alone.
Then they should never work. They are a liability?
@@user-yl3mp7um6k There are a lot of things female cops can do that males cant. but anyone can be quickly taken over in a fight, no cop should ever work alone
Most females shouldn't even be cops.
@@bignutkid6913A 200 lbs male cop has a better chance than a 110 lbs female cop!
She was off duty and on her way home.
Always help the police. They need you
A big thankyou to those who helped the officers 💕
Cop is Legend!!!! Truck guy throws down some jujitsu! Also legend and needs free food vouchers.
In the full video of that moment it revealed that the guy who was helping the lady officer is a BJJ trainer
My grandfather is has a 3rd level black belt and his son was a cop for 17 years. My papa said teach how the train you. His son demonstrated and my papa said that will get you killed. So he taught him martial arts and he made it home safe.
That's how you do it, man. That's solid parenting. It doesn't end when they leave home.
Love you man thanks for saving that little life where ever you are in this world may god bless you
That first dude was an absolute hero saving the two little girls god bless him 💗
Johnathan Baez I would be proud and honored to have you next to me in battle! Respect! You are a true Hero!
You can't fight the cop claiming you're acting in self-defense from getting arrested😂😂
The first cop didn’t do a thing till he was forced to, shame on him and bravo to the civilian.
The first cop did exactly what his training told him to do, on a fire scene. Heck, if anything, he was lax in not forcing people back. Breaking a window is bad if you're prepared or lucky. This scene was lucky. But you've created a path for the fire to go towards oxygen, right over the children and you weren't prepared.
The first one: Jonathan definitely deserves a shout out and the cop “tried” to help. The cop, all he did was walk while other ppl were running like they are in a marathon!
The second 1: She’s pregnant and doesn’t need to be working! She looks about 6 months! She needs to be resting!!
The third one:I can’t explain! This is so crazyyy😮😮!Crazy how 5+ men came and hit a woman! These ppl have the world childhood trauma. Disappointed in how this world is!
EDIT: BRO WHY IS ALL TYEM IN AUG. MY BIRTH MONTH? where my august ppl at?😢❤😊
The cop did what his training would've taught in that situation. While you think you're helping, breaking that window will often make a fire far more dangerous inside. Go talk to your local fire department about that. You've now given the fire oxygen in a path that goes directly over the kids inside. You don't have a ladder, a team ready to do things quick, nor water.
I hope more of these brave citizen videos get created by this channel.
