Subbed. This game and Stronghold are my favorite games. The sense of speed in this game is unmatched to any other sports games.

Although I never owned Tricky or 3, I would frequently play them at my friend's house and the hype of getting from the very peak to the bottom was just insane. This games mastered the element of branching pathways and vertical movement imo. Love this video!
Also my music prof (Rom Di Prisco) worked on some of the music for Tricky as well as the original SSX!

Old games rarely hold up with our memories of them, often times disappointing us when revisiting them but this game really shines with its Charme and timeless execution. This was a nice memento to witness!
    Editing and memes 10/10!

This was a really well put together video! I quite enjoyed it!
SSX is one of my most beloved childhood game series, and I hope we can eventually get a new game or at least remake of the old ones!

As a guy who made a texture pack to emulate the beta, the simple statement being it's timeless cannot be more true, the textures for even back then were pretty high definition for 2004, save for a few billboards, fonts and the background. EA could simply get away with just repackaging the game with Realtime lighting, and honestly nobody would care, because the game is so butter smooth and visually stunning.
Just buying the game on the Series X and the game would still look like it was released today

Thank you! Really appreciate that 💚 I might do that in the future, but AoE is such a beloved and well known game, I try to shine light on some of the more lesser known ones. But again, I definitely would like to!

I remember my cousin and a friend having SSX, tho can't remember which one exactly, man that sh-t was fire!.
But honestly, with how EA is nowadays, it's better if it stays dead instead of being bastardize by greedy corps
Props to Ubi for somewhat trying to revive the genre, tho, not a lot of success due... Well...Being Ubisoft lol

Yeah, definitely was a gamble on their side. Cool that they took it, sucks that it didn't work out.
