I’ve had no luck along the Logan river been at it for a week all at different times of the day/night. I’m going to give bundall and capri bridge a try. I’ve been using mullet and eel. You’re right about bream and other fish blasting your fillets of mullet I caught a 60cm cat fish which blew my mind the big radioactive dog 😂
at Bundall bridge in Korman park they have built a new retaining wall and a new fishing platform , and they put a lot of new rocks along the bank and some have gone out into the river making it very snaggy with a lot of risk of losing terminal tackle , if you do hook a Bully you would have to drag it over the rocks , personally i think they have ruined it far better to fish the opposite bank .
I have been getting stuck into some sharks up in brisbane my biggest being 207cm. I was using 100lb wire and was getting lots of bites, when I switched to 200lb wire I seem to get much less bites. Is there any merit to the idea of sharks being spooked by a heavier wire.
Its like all fishing mate the lighter you fish the better. This also works on sharks, only step wire wire class if you intend to chase larger sharks with bigger outfits and baits. Good luck mate

You can eat the small ones. I used to chase big ones for sport only.
I normally fish the Logan for bullies. Where is a good spot for them off the bank in the Coomera
