Tío is not his name. Tío is Spanish for uncle, so when Tuco says "My tío" it means my uncle.

Fun fact, thanks to the writers' strike, the 1st season ended early, and the first 2 episodes of this season were originally going to be in the 1st. One huge thing that _changed_ because of it is Tuco was originally going to kill Jesse! Instead, the writers got to hear the audience response to the 1st season and their love for Jesse Pinkman and they realized how much the Walt & Jesse relationship was like the heart of the show.

@It's Nietzsche, Bietzsche! It wasn't audience response, Vince realized by the second episode that Jesse's character and Aaron's acting were so good, so that plot point was quickly discarded.

@@sealarius5788 Yeah, I find it hard to believe that the writers would do something so stupid seemingly, when the rest of the show is damn near perfection. That just seems like one of those ideas that are thrown out in a writing room and quickly forgotten, never to be given the time of day again.
Apparently, Tuco was actually supposed to be around longer, but Raymond Cruz found the intense performance so exhausting that he asked to be written out earlier. So I've read, anyway.
He was so great as Tuco. So intense, what a beast!
Makes sense if you have to play parts like that for too long it starts to seep into your actual personality or so I’ve heard.

Raymond Cruz also played a character in another show at the same time (ironically he played a police officer in that) and he found this to be more exhausting, so he chose to leave the show.

First time I saw this episode, it was so interesting and suspenseful how you didn't know if Tio was coherent and alert, but you suspected he might be, but didn't know for sure. And then you find out he saw Walt put the ricin in the burrito and knocked it off of the table. Grade A filmmaking and storytelling. Still, as good as this was, so many future episodes are even better.
Finished the show a year ago, but its still my favourite show of all time. Luv ur reactions keep it up.

The intensity throughout this entire episode is 🔥🔥 Held my breath many times, especially with Tuco's tio and Hank pulling up at the end, oh my god!

I just finished watching the final season (after taking an accidental year hiatus!) and man...I’m feeling mixed emotions and I’m glad I get to relive the glory moments with you guys!
Completely missed the "They're not gonna catch him" joke.
Seriously. I'm reminded why I don't watch the reactions of these guys more regularly. They don't know how to stfu. I couldn't stand to ever watch a movie or show sitting next to them.
I think that behaviour is just enhanched because of the fact they are recording it. I mean, i understand that they talk too much, because it is a 'reaction' after all, and too keep it as fun as possible they might react out loud as much as possible. It isn't entertaining when we don't hear their thoughts, that would turn it into 'watching the episode itself without any added content.'
Are Hannah and Nahid the only ones that know how to shut up during important scenes?

I love The Wire. It's one of the best shows ever made, but I'm not sure it would make for a good reaction series. They'd have to be silent pretty much the entire time in order to follow the goings on. That show does not hold your hand at all.

I think the guy who's already seen the show should be quiet and not ruin their experience.
Also, saying things like "I love this scene" or "Look at what he does next" doesn't help. Not trying to be rude, at all. Just let your friends enjoy the show without being hyped up constantly.
The initial spider "jump-scare" was funny enough. But the heebie-jeebies aftermath at 36:06 was priceless, from the second scare (at the jacket) to the secondary shudder (at some phantom speck that could've been another spider).

Mark Margolis is the actor who plays Tio. You may have seen him in Scarface.
Funnysterste he's great in Better Call Saul. It's before the stroke. So, he actually has dialogue. However, you got to praise his acting, post stroke, considering he only has his face (and bell), to convey emotion.

Here’s the problem with Skyler: early on she’s written as a sort of obstacle to Walt, and since you’re rooting for him it makes it easy to hate her. As time goes on Walt becomes more evil and Skyler gains more depth, but people still tend to linger on that hatred they had for her.
