What is the difference between Hamir Kalyani and Kedar? This sounds almost exactly like Hamir Kalyani.

They are almost exactly the same raga, probably Hamir Kalyani is the imported carnatic form of Kedar. I think there are some very minor differences with some phrases taken in the upper end of the saptak but other than that they are pretty much identical.
