Actions speak louder than words and Sonny can rant all the time about how much he loves his kids, and yeah I do believe he does love them because he wouldn't allow himself to go to prison for someone he didn't love, etc., but when it is a choice between a love interest and his kids best interest, he always chooses his love interest over his kids and this is not the only example of that! He killed Michael's biofather, even when he promised Michael he would never harm AJ, because of Connie! He slept with Morgan's love interest Ava! There's a lot more where that comes from! I have no doubt that Sonny does love his kids, after being willing to go to prison for Michael and helping him through some very hard times I do believe that, but he isn't a great father! It is possible to love your kids and still not be a very good parent by certain standards, and Sonny is also incredibly selfish! At least Sonny was never abusive toward his children, though I have to say he did mess with Michael's head on more than one occasion! Until recently, Michael has always been a little too forgiving of Sonny, but Michael was always like that to a certain degree!

He made a calculated decision on the fact that the bullet was aimed at them AND he was close to Kate but not close enough to Michael. The writers wrote it that way then they used that proximity to blame Sonny on loving his ladies over his kids. Sad.
Corvetter Adderley Carly’s kids are ALWAYS the ones that got screwed by the mob. Kristina has had a few mishaps but not like Michael and Morgan. I hope Donna doesn’t get the same treatment. However, I think even back in this time- when Sonny and Carly weren’t together- their children being in peril had mostly to do with giving them couple angst. Carly was the only woman that Sonny actually tried to have children with, the only woman besides Lily that he had even married at this point (Claudia and Brenda were after this). There would always be tension there the way there wasn’t with his other babymamas. He didn’t truly love the others, so it’s meatier drama to work with.
Ummm, how did Michael jump from being 12 years old to being 17 years old in just a year! He was only in a comma from that shooting for a year right? At least that's what everyone says when he wakes up! But when he wakes up he's maybe 16 at least, 17 at most! How does that make any sense at all! Well, this is just an example of Soap world! Time does not go along the same way! They have the ability to throw away all the laws of Time and Space! Love it!

Carly was a freaking mess when she got pregnant with michael hoping it was Tony's to keep her mothers ex which is insane for revenge. She obviously didnt love him bc she sure was over him the second she moved in with jason. My point is carly in her youth was crazy selfish almost sociopathic but after tamra & Laura carly grew up & finally got a great legal man like jax . It was time to leave jason & sonny behind bc Jocelyn was in danger michael already got shot raped in prison carly still chose hanging out with them than her husband & kids. So while I cheered this growth it is sad she lost it all & remarried sonny. Besides laura wright & mo dont have chemistry. She & ingo still have sparks

She could have done something different besides sleep with Step daddy tony. Before that it was her step dad Frank roberts. Then her best friends dad. Sickening!!!
