I love this area and the barracks is amazing. So great to see the vehicles from the workshop and museum being used. I know so many people have put so much work and time into thier restoration. It's a credit to all involved
It was an amazing weekend! I’m so glad I met Vince Speranza and listened to his stories. Also, meeting a German veteran, who drove a panzer IV in Russia and Belgium, was quite interesting. Great video!
Cobra king is the name of a sherman jumbo that is actually an undrivable body now as it got burned down during the war it is currently sitting in the us in a museum unrestorable, your m9 tank destroyer is actually a m7b1 priest from war heritage institute it is part of the artillery museum (gunfire Brasschaat)
the first tank said, "first in Bastogne". the 82nd and 101st were the first, Patton just brought much-needed coffee and cigarettes. GO Airborne, or just don't go at all.
Pity the camera didn't follow the Cromwell, I'd have liked to hear more of that. Nice to see the Belgians don't insist on hi viz marshals getting in the way of the people
Let me just say, as a guy who was here the week of the siege of the Bastogne Belgium it is incredibly stupid for the city to do it celebration a week before the battle even happened. They do that way every year for some reason if you’re in this town doing a celebration why not do it when the battle was actually at this location. I know the battle of the bulge covered much area but if you’re going to be in this area than do it when the battle was in this area! Yes I know that The guy that does this UA-cam channel has no control over that whatsoever but let me tell you to find out that yes they did have a celebration but no they did it a week before the battle even happened is incredibly stupid
I made some mistakes with the tank titles but lots of people here in the comments have the right answers thank you for that !
I think on schermen tanks they removed star on front bottom because it was like a bullseye and weakest point
The M7 priest was a 105 mm self propelled howitzer. It was used as artillery.
Everybody loves a Panther.

The 101st was at Bastogne; the 82nd was one of the units that stopped Kampgruppe Peiper.
Pity the camera didn't follow the Cromwell, I'd have liked to hear more of that.

@@CarLos-yi7ne yes the m4a3e8 is the easy heigth
@@pierredegelaen7116 Yes, the E8 was called by the men "Easy Eight" because of the better ride and wider tracks.
your vehicle designations are off
M5 Stuart and M7 Priest
also just jumbo Sherman
John Hermesmeyer thank you the m9 should indeed be a M7 Priest and it is also a m5 stuart
