Please pray for my brother Kenneth. He has been diagnosed with depression in the past but is now suffering from psychosis which can lead to schizophrenia.
Please pray that God would heal him from all mental disorders, release him from any demonic opression and fill him with the Holy Spirit.

I didn't find you first but I did learn about dispensations. Yet I wanted more on the subject. I wanted more clarity. And you have given me that clarity.

@@mitchlevengood1903 There is no way to explain large sections of the Bible without basic dispensations. For example if anyone says there is no such thing then ask them when was Ezekiel 36-37 fulfilled, when will Ezekiel 38-39 be fulfilled, when will Zechariah 12-14 be fulfilled. I could listed mutiple other examples but when you ask then they never have an answer and just tend to ignore entire sections of the Bible because they don't know how to make them work through their doctrine.

In my experience the word “ dispensations “ was never mentioned in church . That’s why I study ( 2 nd Timothy 2:15) at home with a whole host of KJV dispensationalists teachers. The Bible was a very difficult read untill you realise God said different things to different people at different times. The Bible must be read in it’s entirety in this mindset to understand how Paul taught Christ crucified .( romans to Philemon) Chuck missler said the Old Testament is the New Testament concealed and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. It’s all the truth but Paul’s are dispensed by Grace only. We are not under the school master in this dispensation. This is what I understand ( and believe) 1st Corinthians 15 verse 1-4.

Either you believed Jesus Christ whom died for our sins as full payment for our sin debt / which the blood of Jesus was shed as payment 2000+ years ago on that cross and taken up to the mercy seat in heaven as the atonement and imputed righteousness to whomever believes....

What is tribulation?
I understand the great tribulation is the last 3.5 years, implementation of the mark, image and name beast system.
I'm curious as to what is the tribulation before that? World war... economic collapse?

It says wars and rumors of war, earthquakes and a lot of what's happening now.
Tribulation starts once the church leaves at the rapture and the Satan runs everything until Armageddon. Hope this helps

Thanks for a more detailed reply. I mostly know what the Bible says about the end times but was wondering about the "term" tribulation. Is world war or economic collapse a part of tribulation? That seems to be the direction we are heading. If either of the two happen or both, because they usually go hand in hand, then we are in tribulation without a doubt.

We had a long conversation in a previous comment thread and this commenter kept dodging the question when I asked him if he actually does things Jesus commanded. He even started quoting random verses that had nothing to do with the conversation at hand.
And to show his dishonesty, the deleted that entire comment and posted a new one here, saying the same thing he doesn't even apply in his life.
This person doesn't follow Jesus at all, he literally cannot do so but he keeps telling others to do the same. No honesty in this guy.
In the beginning when we come to God he makes us alive who were once dead in trespasses and sin. By the grace of God through faith, God delivers us from the power of darkness, he saves us. That's our conversion, our Ephesians2:8-9 salvation event. Everyone who has been converted has this salvation event in their past and cannot lose an event. When Jesus returns judgement our resurrection, that's also a salvation event, final salvation event and it's in the future for everyone, hasn't happened yet. That's why it not only matters if we believe remain faithful to Christ. It also matters how we live our walk our righteousness now in this lifetime. Has nothing to do with keeping Torah laws or working for salvation. After our conversion event, we maintain our salvation by abiding in the doctrine of Christ....and this is the testimony that God has given us eternal life. And this life is in his son. He who has the son has life, he who does not have the son of God does not have life...whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the father and the son....eternal life is in Christ not in ourselves. As long as we abide in the doctrine of Christ we maintain our salvation and have life in Christ. When Jesus returns judgement our resurrection, that's when we have life in ourselves final salvation event....for as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order Christ the firstfruits afterwards those who are Christ at his coming....and as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgement, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for him he will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.....marvel not at this for the hour is coming in which all who are in the Graves will hear his voice and come forth those who have done good to the resurrection of life and those who have done evil to the resurrection of condemnation......many can see the beginning our conversion event but cannot see the end when Christ returns judgement our resurrection final salvation event. They cannot see the kingdom of God or scripture pertaining to entering the kingdom in the end..John3:3.....everything I said was according to scripture, doesn't matter if you agree or not......

Maybe I can help. Dispensations are different periods where God deals with man in different ways. For example the Old testament law is a dispensation, and the church age/the New Covenant is a different dispensation. The people of God today (us) do not sacrifice animals to cover our sins, we are covered by the blood of Jesus by faith. One of the reasons its important to understand about basic dispensations is because there are massive amounts of scripture about what happens to the 12 tribes of Israel in the latter days. For example chapters like Ezekiel 36-37, Ezekiel 38-39, Zechariah 12-14, Jeremiah 30-33 are detailed prophecies about the Jews and what happens to them in the last days when they return to the Holy Land and how they finally come to accept Jesus.
Right now all who accept Jesus (Jew and Gentile) are one body in Christ. But as the chruch age ends, God has a huge work He has promised to do in Israel (those who never accepted Jesus) to bring them back to Him and under the New Covenant. God has massive amounts of still unfulfilled promises for the Jews that HE will fulfill in the 1000 year reign. Without a basic grasp of dispensations, people are often totally confused about the order of these events or how they can even be fulfilled in the church. Basic dispensations helps us to understand most of these event happen AFTER the chruch age (in the tribulation and the 1000 year reign).
Don't feel overwhelmed if you don't fully grasp all those things yet, they take more in depth study of the prophets. Without basic dispensations its impossible to make heads or tails of and would be a garbled mess. With basic dispensations its possible to understand how these things fit together.

I am so pleased that you are one of few preachers that "Rightly divide the Word of truth" & not mix BEFORE THE CROSS WITH AFTER THE CROSS which result in thousands of denominations (no such word in the entire Bible) when we are "ONE IN CHRIST" Galatians 3:26-28 (KJV). The Apostle Paul makes that very clear in Galatians 1:8-9 (KJV). I have been a Christian for 36 years, the first 20 "in church at 10 different denominations, 2 Bible Colleges & after reading the Bible I had many questions which Pastors avoided answering until I met a Pastor/Teacher who answered ALL my questions - haven't been back to "church" for the last 16 years! I've heard several teachers using the verse that says Abraham believed and it was counted to him as righteousness and they say see salvation has always been by faith
They love to run to those verses, but then they don't go to James. The Bible says that he believed God, and (for his FAITH) it was counted to him for righteousness. But, we read later that he wasn't "justified" until he offered up his son Isaac (by works!). That happened anywhere between 13-18 years later.
Do we TODAY not get imputed righteousness and justification at the same time like Abraham didn't? Do we have to wait 13-18 years after we get imputed righteousness to get justification like Abraham did? I trow not!

Clearly salvation was different in the Old Testament than in the New. You can't help but see it. In fact, Salvation came by JESUS CHRIST. That's what the Bible says!
