Nice hits, Ed. That was Donruss at its finest before Panini took over & ruined baseball cards. Donruss was great at doing relics that would depict the year of the jersey & show you a pic of the jersey on the back of the card. FanCrate gave you a great box my friend. Enjoy the ⚾️.
I see repacks like this or steel city's stuff as a great alternative to buying boxes. Typically cheaper and I feel you get guaranteed more money back even on the lesser cards than you do when opening a hobby box.
Yeah you get the surprise factor for sure. I guess the only difference is your never going to “win” with a repack although it’s pretty rare to win in a hobby box these days too

I got a Tatis National Treasures on card auto /49, Ohtani rookie pink chrome refractor PSA 9, A Tyrese Maxey cleary rated rookie auto /10, and then one had two in it of a Jayson Tatum rated rookie PSA 10 and a KAT Vanguard patch auto /49. Small sample size, but I talked to the owner and he said he gets cards at such good deals that he can make margins and still give great value. If you'd be interested let me know! I'm headed there tomorrow.

Unfortunately they are very common Rose autos, it’s still nice, I have quite a few signed balls but haven’t picked that one up yet, Packman managed to get Albert Pujols, slightly better. But hey, last months was a banger

In all honesty every repack product is a better value than any box at this point. Yes you're not going to get the possible 4 or 5 figure card but you'll probably get 50%-75% value on your money normally with out a lot of worthless base. Repacks have always been my gambling fix of choice

Yeah when we first started I was averaging that 50%…that stopped around mid 2021 when box prices went through the room even further
