The long awaited aquarium build is here!! Loved you're editing in this one I laughed out loud every time you edited yourself into the movie clips. I always enjoy your enthusiasm you bring to your videos and your passion for the hobby. Can't wait to see more!
Best video EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your scene clips were so hilarious. Not to mention how the scape looks. As a lifelong aquarist and Tolkien fan this video had so many of my favorite things. Please keep up the amazing content!
This looks so good, I fell in love with Tolkien since my teacher read The Hobbit in 8th grade now I have almost every book he’s ever written and his son Christopher Tolkien found and published. I read The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings books every year.
Excellent video Taylor!! Great that you had all the LoTR film clips and even somehow managed to put yourself in there! The practice layout looks very Fanghorn like already and will be amazing when you get to the stage of putting the plants in to make it very forest-like. Looking forward to the next steps!
Possibly your best video, yet!!! I loved the clips, you did them so well! I smiled and laughed at each one😅. I love your ideas with the ghost wood for Bangor Forest!!👍
I'm INVESTED 😀 cannot wait to see how it turns out! I think building the practice box was definitely the way to go, there are so many beautiful places in the books, Fangorn Forest was an excellent choice
Lmao that intro was just too good. I really liked the homemade aquascape from the lord of the rings build. Really really cool work. I want a tank, but I always thought most tanks were kind of generic. Love the channel! Keep it up!
So excited! Love the ghost wood, I agree, it’s got the texture and personality needed to accomplish the forest, and it definitely does! I’m a planner, sketcher, and thinker too, but the practice box is priceless, such a brain saver, reduces frustration!
Hah! Well thank you, you would have enjoyed a bunch of the rambling I was doing that I had to cut from the video because I thought I would lose people :P
The wood is lovely! You are certainly putting in a lot of effort trying to get it the way you want it to be - so good luck and looking forward to the next video to see the progress!! Kay
I love this so much, and cannot wait to see it set up and planted! You also look great with the Elf braid, I used to wear one constantly around the time the movies came out, when my hair was still as long as yours.
Funnily enough I actually discovered your channel via your wonderful Hobbit Hole aquascape video. Love the idea of a dark dank enchanted Ent forest aquascape. You could make it dark via the black water method. Will you be carving out Ent faces on some of your gnarlier pieces of wood? The try out box is a great idea. Can't wait to see you build the end product! 😁👍
I enjoyed the Lord of the rings films, but I don't know that much about them. For me it's more about seeing what you create, I just love scaping! I've never seen ghost Wood until now, but I'll be on the lookout for my next tank, I love the texture, and I'm planning a 350l Blackwater corner tank which I think this type of wood will be perfect for! I can't wait to see how this tank progresses!
Great video TayTay! ❤🥰🐶👌🔥 I gonna be build my first salt water aquascape soon, dad just help me break the rock up just today, my tank should arrive in a couple weeks so I’ll start building the rock work between now and then 🥰🐶❤️
this video is already 100x better than Rings of power. I had seen your Bag End video in the past. I really love you doing these LotR theme betta tanks. Kudos.
Simply Betta: "Don't let the power of sitting around thinking paralyse you into inaction." Me: Looks at 4ft paludarium sitting in carport for over 4 years. "Meh, I'll get round to it."
Really awesome you decided to do a “Lord of the Rings” theme. The layout is looking awesome so far! A Dojo is definitely an awesome thing to have! Wish I had room for one…. The tank I shared with you I actually built my interpretation from a description in “The Hobbit.” A scene of the group finding the edge of the woods and seeing the mountains after the long trek through the woods.
@@SimplyBetta I’m with that 100% 🤣 I think that is Adam Paszczela’s name but I cannot be sure if it. I’m glad at least it is a Tolkien name if meant to be or not lol!
It looks awesome Taylor, can't wait to see what ideas you're going to incorporate in the final project! Maybe some figures put in there would be neat, really pull it together, I dunno
It's off to a great start! Can't wait to see it finished and watch it grow in. I got my forest up and running in a 40g breeder and it's been running for about 6 months. It's looking pretty good, but now I've gotten a new 75g that I want to transfer it to with better wood. Except there is no wood venders around here... damn.
@@SimplyBetta thanks. I was thinking about your scape, and maybe you could do something like that reveal of Gandalf the White, and make like a beam of light hit a white anubias & some cool moss, like utricularia graminifolia.
There are five tiny special clips in this video, can you find them all? :D
Loved them all. Totally made me giggle. 😅
they were pretty seamless but I think I got them. I'm excited for you and it's looking good
You are so clever!❤️🇦🇺
NO
The guy who almost dropped the tank, will never live it down
I'm dying here at the way you put yourself into the movie scenes. Definitely never seen any other fish channel go that far. Very nice!
LOLLL, thank you ^^
She’s very very clever 👌🏻👌🏻Steve 🇬🇧
Shes the best
the "im loving the vibe" elf edit was actually unexpectedly hilarious hahaha loved it
haha thanks!
@@SimplyBetta omg she responded XD hahaha :)
Love it! huge fan of LOTR!!!
Right on! Thanks!😄
I keep finding myself smiling during this because besides your great style of humor, your enthusiasm's just super infectious.
Oh gosh! Thank you
This one turned out way cooler than I would have expected
That's good!
Can't wait to see Fangorn Forrest done in it's ENTirety!
I have to steal this pun :P
@@SimplyBetta You can have it. It's ENTirely yours!
Really enjoyed the video. Looking forward to the final setup!
I appreciate that, @cichlid bros!

I really like the arrangement. Toats see a sense of depth in it with the size of the trees
That's good! Thank you
Green screen moments were 10/10 😆 I love the map above the fire place ...and I just am so excited to see this tank in its completion yay!
haha glad you liked it! :D
Very cool, hardscape is everything!
Can’t wait to see it finished
Final tank is going to look so good I already know it!
Thanks!
Taylor, I can't wait to see your finished project. One thing I suggest is not letting the wood touch the glass for easier tank cleaning.
Thanks! ;D
I've been following you for a few years as another channel. I love your creativity scapewise & as a videoographer. Keep up the good work. ❤

I love your ideas with the ghost wood for Bangor Forest!!👍
Haha thank you! I'm glad you liked it!
The practice box is so fun! I hope the wood transfers well to the tank
Thanks, me too! I'm waiting on my substrate still, a little nervous about transferring ...

You are amazing! Your original Bag End aquascape was part of the inspiration for my Hobbit-themed 14g rimless!
That's great! :D
Super excited to see this one come together.
Great work! Looking forward to seeing the final scape!
Thank you!
I'm truly excited what you have plans for this aquarium. It's looking really well and I can totally picture what you are accomplishing in this tank.
Thank you so much! I can't wait to progress on it some more and get some PLANTS ;)
Ooh same. Can't wait to see what you are getting. It will beautiful yet mystical.
So excited! Love the ghost wood, I agree, it’s got the texture and personality needed to accomplish the forest, and it definitely does! I’m a planner, sketcher, and thinker too, but the practice box is priceless, such a brain saver, reduces frustration!
Thanks Kerri! I love the practice box :P
Super excited to watch this process! Looks amazing so far. 😊
Thank you! :)
I never actually thought that when I googled lord of the rings aquascape, I would actually find something so brilliant 😢
I love LOTR also. Love that you are doing this scape. Cant wait to see the final result.
Thanks! :)
Can't wait to see it done. I am sure it will be fantastic 👍👍👍
Thanks, @skull aquatics :)
I am VERY invested in this series!!!
Great! I can't wait for the next one, I'm waiting on my substrate still then I can film :P
@@SimplyBetta I guarantee I’m going to be so obsessed by the end, that I start quietly making purchases to build my own. Hubby would LOVE that 😂
Its looking so cool!!!!
Excited for this one!
Thanks! Me too, I'm just waiting on my plants now
It is looking awesome. Looking forward to the next update.
Thank you, next update coming soon!
I like what you've done so far. It makes me want to rewatch the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
I love it! This is going to be an amazing tank!
Thanks, I think so too!
Amazing! It already looks so great! So excited to see this video.
Another awesome video -- can't wait to see where this goes (and what kind of bettas you put in there LOL!!!) Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Hey thanks!!
I love the mad scientist vibes I’m getting from this video 💕
haha best compliment ever
This has lots of potential to be one of my favourites aquascapes, being a massive fan of LOTR!!!! Can't wait to see it finished
So much pressure to make it GOOD! :D
New here, definitely made me smile and watch several videos, excited to see this scone to life!

Hah! Well thank you, you would have enjoyed a bunch of the rambling I was doing that I had to cut from the video because I thought I would lose people :P
Gonna be lit! (Dimly)

Thank you! :)
Ha! When you first described the forest as dark and ominous, I immediately thought “use your cursed driftwood Taylor”!
That driftwood makes an appearance very soon 😈
Well done!
Great work. Beautiful aquascape, incredible video editing, and amazing Taylor😄
Thank you! :D

I bet that this tank is going to look awesome once completed
totally!
LOL, I had to laugh when you edited yourself just outside of Bag End house
I am so excited for this new project!
I loved the ideia. Is it possible to esculpe an ent face in these woods? It'd be incredible!

Ordering online can be tough and expensive depending on how much you want! have any local rivers with driftwood?
@@SimplyBetta I do have a bunch of driftwood from a local beach on Lake Superior. It just doesn’t have much of any texture. I’ll make due…
