This Type of Alter/Part like others are not a Conscious Decision
Most of the time it is because the person fictional or otherwise the person watching may feel strongly attached during their traumatic times and or this person maybe going through similar things as said person and saw them overcome it or dealing with it or it maybe that particular person’a function is needed in the System🩷
For so long I didn’t know what was happening especially during high school when Isaac emerged but of course at that time I didn’t know other people like Me exists
