I am definitly a console player(playstation)but I cannot deny the appeal of having an arcade room in the house with the neon lights lighting the room and a snack and soda bar for nostalgia 😎👌 I would probably never leave that room 😆🤣👏 to Tell you the truth. Great job dan. At one point I could have bought the pac man machine for 199.99 and the stand for 99.99 with a 20% discount but I didn't have the room or money at that time. Also walmart used to get some of these cabinets also(tmnt, NBA jam and galaga)and they were 399.99 with the stand.
Ya for me personally it is just Nostalgia..... I say it a lot, but that is a big part of why I play games. I was much happier as a kid, so playing those games for memories is always what draws me back to games and why I am always playing my SNES mini over anything lol
Bring back the classic arcades! The ones with a pizza parlor ,popcorn machine, and soda fountains! Ski ball lanes, air hockey tables, and rows of pinball and arcade! Id make one just because....if I hot the lottery. 😂
My ultimate dream would be to be financially independent to the point where I could just open up my own arcade. All games would be free to play, and available to anybody who wants to show up. Just an expensive hobby for me to enjoy. I always loved the arcades when I was a kid.
I'm financially indepent enough to go to either Blast Galaxy or the National Video Game Museum as often as I like, they take care of everything for 15€ per visit, impossible price to beat yourself, not to mention all the stress maintanance and electricity bills give.
I feel like in this economy where people are having to drop luxuries,I would think opening an arcade in a fairly populated area would be good business. Cheap and easy.
Have a peek at the wall mounted cabinets I build at Umbrella Arcades. They are made in the US using powder coated steel, and higher-end audio/video/PC components They run between 3,000-25,000 games, and everything is pre-configured.
Yeah these arent even close to the top machines. The megacade is easily #1 & the arcade guys make an amazing 43 in 4 player cab for half the price of the megacade with custom art work wraps available, light guns, etc.
I got the asteroids cabinet for 75 bucks on clearance a couple of years ago. Right time, right place. My dream would be to get the Earthshaker and Hot Pursuit pinball machines from the 80's. Believe it or not, I was actually a pinball wizard back in the day. I play some pinball on console, but it just isn't the same as the real thing. Anyway, good vid Dan.. Hope you are well 🙏 😊
You forgot to mention the megacade from extreme home arc made with lots of games it doesn’t include the wii bar you have to put it with your order you can even put your consoles in since it has a tv with your package oh good luck trying it in your home or apartment
No the original arcade machine is the best. As nothing beats a true original arcade machine. Though the megacade is probably the cloest we can get to that. 1 day ill get one but have the speakers switches to focal. So im sure mine will be upwards of 10k vs the 7k if fully buold 1 out minus custom artwork.
She’s lucky I don’t have room for these. I’d buy a few just to make her head spin. I’m sure the $3,750 dollar one would make a nice conversation piece not to mention being dope AF set up in your home. I can already see me owning these as an old man and actually using them.
My bro this was awesome to see!! Definitely took me back to my kid days!! Dope bro!! Thanks for the video!! Much love and respect to you and yours always bro 😎🙏❤🙌🌹
when i become millionaire then i'll buy some of my favorites like pac-land, outrun, super hang-on, mr. do! etc...until then i'm pretty happy with mame, big screen and awesome bezels...
Dan , I have a console that supports two users, it came with a box that has thousands of videos (old videos). Is there a way to unplug that box and replace it with a box that would be of newer and a better quality games ? That would allow me to still use the two stick controller? Thanks, great video. (PS: I am 76 years old and need some guidance here.
What you can do is get a raspberry pi & install it into the cabinet, which would connect to the display for better quality. You would have to use it as an emulation console though.... You could also buy one of the retro emulation consoles from amazon that come with like 50k+ games and just connect it to the arcade cabinets hdmi.
Hey Dan, do any of these machines have or support arcade guns for games like AREA 51, House of the Dead or Deep Sea Hunter II? Are there any out there that do?
Here's the ten arcade cabinets I'd like to have; 1. Tron 2. Donkey Kong 3. Pac Man 4. Galaga 5. Donkey Kong Jr. 6. Mario Bros 7. Asteroids 8. Space Invaders 9. Dig Dug 10. Pole Position
There is better options on the market than the one on Amazon you should do a cover of top arcades not just amazon ! Doesn’t mean Amazon sell it that the product is the best
I only covered the ones on Amazon for convenience....... 90% of the people on this planet have Amazon Prime & an Amazon account. Yes there are better ones, but this is an Amazon dedicated video and I plan on making some more in the future on other ones sold else where
Great machines even if have cash can't buy a labergine car out the dealership you need credit card banking for years and also where you got money legit guys. Knowledge just learn well bag of chips and soda and games some type of happyness
Not everyone wants to spend $5000 on an actual arcade.... It was a video covering things that gamers can enjoy and have fun with. Thats like saying an Emulation console wont give you access to retro games the same way the actual console would
Awesome Arcade is worth checking out. they have some decent looking machines but however, be aware that it is a family own company and they don't ship the machines with the game boards. according to the guy who own the company he said it was licensing reason he chose to not sell his machine with the Jamma boards installed. not to mention claims adding a board increase the price. he might be full of it. also keep in mind. after watching some of his youtube videos he does get repetitive with tutorial videos and is easy to understand I know some people prefer a damn instruction manual, I believe people have better understanding via watching a how to video. also, he did threw a bit of a cheap shot at creative over what he called a shitty ass shipping policy and other company corn doors cheap and not so great. Arcade1up has gotten stupid lately. they keep recycling old machines like Apple relaunching new models of iPhones. also they're newer machine have gone up in prices. the only machine worth getting your hands on from them are the one that are uniquely cool like Tran, Dragon's Lair, and Star Wars. everything else, it Pac-Man, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter in many different combos every damn year. more bandi namco, more attari, more capcom combos.
Lol. After the 2nd price buddy mentioned I said well this isn't for me and stopped watching. Better off just buying an Xbox and PlayStation and 2 50 inch TVs for my basement suite.
You gotta factor in the fact that you get access to 1000's of games at no extra cost, whereas the PlayStation and or Xbox is $70 per game now.... Think long term, not short term

I feel like in this economy where people are having to drop luxuries,I would think opening an arcade in a fairly populated area would be good business. Cheap and easy.
With about 5k usd, you can buy nearly all the stand-up arcades from arcade 1up.
I hope you randomly win a lot of money some day.
@@Cooldudejr No. 1up machines are flimsy. The old super heavy machines from my childhood. Otherwise, what's the point.
Some sweet units. That last one even had a trackball for marble madness.
No doubt, the Neo Geo had to have been a true inspiration of work for people to make multi-game machines like these.

its sad that pizza shops dont use arcade machines anymore

That's a good question, Im not sure honestly.... If so, then the links to the listings I included would say.

I think you may have had the audio muted when i said AMAZON ARCADE MACHINES
Another Idea is pedestal with pandora and projector and 50000 games for under 300 dollars sounds better or extra 50 add sound bar .
What’s the game call at 1:39?
Arcade game.... i forget 😂
thanks for the tips, I always needed one for my room and I didnt know which one to choose so thanks!
glad to help dude
