It’s just sad to see the comments... SHO Isn’t bad, it’s just age... He is the one that made me love this band, he is my favorite member still. Voice just isn’t reliable and with age we lose it. Sho is an amazing singer. It’s sad for me to see that his time to stop his career is closing. He is one of the best singers in the world!
Bruh Idk why you guys are sad 🤣 This man has been singing his entire life. This comment is from years ago and today he is more than fine singing like nothing matters and he is clearly happy so why we should be sad? Age comes to everyone, it's natural you shouldn't have pity of someone or yourself everyone and those people saying he can't hit the notes anymore are clearly deaf and delusional since even in this video and whatever other live he always proves they are wrong without needing to say it 😅 more than 50 years and he is still there 👏👏👏 I follow him for who he is not for what is going to be able to do or not in the future.
People are saying Sho singing was bad, but others say he did perfectly in Japan. I'm looking at all their live performances in Japan and their live performances outside of Japan. I can conclude that all their "worst" performances are always outside of Japan. I can only conclude that either Sho is a bit nervous, or the Japanese are the only country that knows how to properly soundcheck. I am lowkey more on the latter opinion.
@@hieinh More than likely. I have played and witnessed festivals, especially outdoors - They're always bad. Even the big bands in the main stage acts sound bad. Even worse when they already sound check before the event and still get the band's sound bad. It's not like they are rushing bands in and out, smaller venues will do that but these big acts at a big festival, there's just no excuse.
As a singer, its almost certainly the first. Being nervous doesn't just make you shaky and such like it does with speech, it can totally ruin your ability to sing in high and low ranges. Here, he is only struggling singing high notes, which tells me his voice is either tired or tense, or both. It sounds like bullshit but the voice is controlled by muscles that act like, well, muscles. Essentially he's trying to bench press while extremely tired or running long distance when he didn't stretch before, and there's not much he can do about it, the event is scheduled, he has to try. now its bullshit keyboard warrior time: he definitely should have tried singing an octave lower, it might have sounded different/strange, but he likely would have been able to sing it and it wouldn't have sounded bad.
if this song is the first on the tracklist, SHO should be able to finish the whole song, in fact this song is not easy to sing, especially for a man who reached 50 already
@@ColonelCampbellAI2024 somehow voice is not reliable especially in this ages, however SHO's voice is so powerful and unlimited before 2014, from the first 4 years in Galneryus, he is a beast. I went to their concert on 11th Nov at Sendai, Japan. he performs all new album songs and still not drop a key in last song of Raise my sword and Destiny. I believe that day is his perfect condition .
One thing I can say for sure is that this is the one kind of worst of their live performance in recent years. I have rarely seen their worst performance like this in Japan At least the performance in Shinjuku on October 23 was perfect.
I have to agree! I was there in Shinjuku on 10/23 and this song was performed to perfection!! The whole concert was just awesome! Will go see them again in Tokyo on 1/10/20!!
@@mrjameshuang1 Thank you for your reprise! I'm glad I could share that brilliant time with you! And of course I'm going to the tour final in Shinkiba. Maybe I'm raising my fist close to you!
the flaws of thecnically band, try to perform so perfectly, improvisation open only for guitar or piano but not vocal , he knows this song is difficult, try to sing it in different way, bon jovi do it all the time, even bruce dickinson do it
Vocals are really bad compared to their other performances to be honest. Sho is losing his touch.. Can't fathom how good Sya is though!! That accuracy is crazy
@@maftykyle7398 That's the difference between a lead singer and an instrument player.. The lead singer use his voice as a musical instrument.. There's health awareness there..

I'm gonna go with soundcheck. Seems like plenty of festivals fuck it up.

really dissapointed! i wanted the americans to be amazed by sho...but can't do anything he is becoming old
I mean he and Andy deris are the only power metal vocalists at that age that can sing like that still
If he rigorously trained his lungs, he could do more 😢

Galneryus nunca agacha la cabeza con sus primeras canciones eso si es de gansters xd

It’s a mixture of Jetlag and how band the mix was. There are shows from Japan that sound fine
lol
