In this picking exercise, it's cross picking, and with the 3 notes per string its Upwards pickslanting. After the 3 notes per string You go back to cross picking I hope that makes sense Because that is some right hand stuff. Am I right @justin.hombach ? No offense baxty love this exercise❤

Do you strictly use alternate picking or do you ever mix in directional/economy picking? I thought starting with an upstroke on that string skipping section with direction picking would make it a bit easier.
