Good to have you guys back! Paul, I agree with your assessment of BL not using daily uploads as a part of an algorithm. I sell on BL and eBay, and I for sure notice it on eBay but not on BL.
Yes... very very close. Ideally we're able to find a warehouse and move out by the end of the year. Otherwise, we're not going to be able to sustain what we're doing with just the space in the garage.
Just caught up today while working on a LUG related project upstairs! Welcome back! Great to see the expansion, it took me a minute to figure out what I was looking at! Hopefully you can get some more space, or figure out some sort of solution to the space problem before it IS a full problem!
Really glad you guys are spending some of your valuable time to give us these great Vlogs again! Thank you! I loved the case idea for offsite cataloguers and transporting pieces.
I love your content. You guys are incredible and your tutorials and content like this have been a huge help. Thank you so much for taking us along for the ride as you build your business. Your willingness to share helps the little guys like me understand how to be a better seller. Thank you is not enough. Keep up the great work!
great vlog and good to have you guys back. with you both full time on the store I can see you outgrowing your current location pretty darn soon. Keep it up guys :)
So glad to see you’re Vlog again, always professional and informative! I’m gonna steal the Idea of the cases with the bins inside and have them barcoded to a Bsx file. That’s just great for my minifig sorting 😊👍 keep it up guys!
Great to see you are back - missed these and the picking videos! You shouldn't need to replace the scale, find a local business that can calibrate it for you again, and it should work as intended. All measurement equipment should be calibrated every year or so. Should be much cheaper than buying a new one!
We're happy to be back! We are going to try and recalibrate it and hopefully that fixes it! Thanks for letting us know to calibrate it each year! That's good to know! Also, thanks for watching!
Nice to see you back at it again. Sorry to hear that you don’t have a another fulltime job, to help supplement the income. Maybe it will be for the best for the business in the end.
I try to keep as many pieces out of the minifig/accessory/animal category as possible. For example; flames, gems, and rocks can go into the 'nature/plants/trees' category. Minifig accessories are going to be a considerable category no matter what. Breaking down the B-sort into subcategories before the actual B-sort helps too (like what you were doing in the video)
Thanks for the tips! It's definitely a challenge and something to just keep working towards... I expect for us to just slowly over the next few weeks do each little "category" within the entire bin and ideally eventually it gets emptied... at least until the next bin fills up again...lol.
Hi! Thanks for watching! We're happy to be back! We have the store still in the garage, but we do a lot of sorting and cataloging in the house now since we ran out of space in the garage.
Welcome back! Question about those small plates - how do you ensure you that glow-in-the-dark white doesn't get thrown in with regular white? I wonder if the issue with your scale is to do with the change they made with in plastic they use for transparent pieces in the last couple of years?
Hi! We start with the white and glow in the dark all in one cup, then we put them on a tray and "charge" them with a light. Then when you put them in a dark place, you can super easily just pick out the ones that are glowing. Super quick, just one small extra step for those two colors. As for the scale, I think we just need to recalibrate it and make sure it's on a strong surface. I do think however, there are minute differences between the weights of some of the parts, so we're really hoping that the average is accurate to the count. We do make an adjustment to the number we get at the end to make sure we can never have too few, but often times we do have too many of a part left in a drawer - this is a better problem to have though... Sorry for the long reply... Thanks for watching!

You guys are about to outgrow that space.
Yes... very very close. Ideally we're able to find a warehouse and move out by the end of the year. Otherwise, we're not going to be able to sustain what we're doing with just the space in the garage.
missed watching your videos! Thank you for the blog and update!
You are so welcome! More to come! Thanks for watching!

Great to see you Wille! Yes, the cases are great! A little expensive, but they are super nice to keep organized! Thanks for watching!
@@JustABrickInTheBucket Do you have Harbor Freight (or somewhere similar) in CA? That's where I get my cases and I can often find them on sale.
Yep! Harbor Freight! Anything gets expensive when you buy 70+ of them… lol. Even though they’re like $10 each
Nice guys, thanks
Thanks! And thanks for watching!

Love the videos. Do you have list of your categories?
Nice to see you back at it again. Sorry to hear that you don’t have a another fulltime job, to help supplement the income. Maybe it will be for the best for the business in the end.
It was actually by choice to not get another full time job. I have some time to try and really push this business to the next level!

Great to see you guys are back! Looks like you moved the store out of the garage! I totally missed that part.
Hi! Thanks for watching! We're happy to be back! We have the store still in the garage, but we do a lot of sorting and cataloging in the house now since we ran out of space in the garage.
How many categories of A sorting do you guys have?

Great to see you back guys. It's been a minute. Man the final sorting process looks sooooooo satisfying. Also I need a fishtank.
We're happy to be back! Thanks for watching Assist!

Awesome! Welcome aboard! Hope your store is going well and continues to grow! Thanks for watching!
LET’S GO!!!!!!
WOOOOOO!!!!!
Is that scale more accurate on a solid table? That folding table could be moving and adding error into the measurement.
A solid surface helps yeah. However I think we just need to recalibrate and it'll be all better! Thanks for the suggestion Peter!
Welcome back. I thort you s had not bean up loading due to me not ceeing Anny vids or live stream s. Hope all s bean good. .and that's not the reason U not bean uploading.
how much space is your garage? can you enable polish translation? :)
It is just under 400 square feet, about 350 of which we are using. We will look into enabling more translations. Thanks for watching!
Read the manual and buy the weights necessary to calibrate the scale
Just did it today! Thanks for the tips!
Can you guys do more of these vlogs again?😁
We will be every week!
How do you wash your Lego? This seems to be a big secret that no one talks about.

What city in California are you in?
We are in Huntington Beach.
Awesome. We will probably be making a visit out to Cal Tech in the coming year for one or both of my kids. I'll touch base with ya then to see if you two are up for a meet and great. Thanks again. Mike Rach, Blue Dragonfly Bricks.
What are you wearing on your thumb?
I cut it a few days before filming this, so I had it covered to keep it clean and protected. It was like a little glove for just my thumb with a band-aid under it.
The scale may be losing it's calibration
I think your scale might be broken
Calibrate the scale.
First blog back is 38 mins LOL they’re on crack!
Right!!! Hahah. Don't expect us to be able to keep them that long... lol.
Thanks for watching Ian!
