Sam is such a good baritone, what an unreal pickup for the quartet
This is EASILY the cleanest I can recall them singing this tag. Crazy
When it's good, it's so good
I would imagine a big part of the reason is because last time Victor was lead and had to make a swap to take high note
They’re absolutely winning gold next year
My vote goes to Three and a Half Men. I have Lemon Squeezy right behind them in 2nd. Should be interesting just like every year is.
@@thomasriedel1379 they’re also pretty incredible, I just have a particular liking for lemon squeezy :) but either way this year will be incredible!
Well, time to rewatch that tag another 376 times.
This sounds like a perfect way to spend the day!
One of my favourite tags ever! ❤
Sams last line is shockingly good. The resonance he produces instantly on the last note after jumping through his passaggio is unbelievable. 2:42
Starting as they finished 7 years ago! We love to see it! ❤
starting as 2 of them finished 7 years ago, at least
Was waiting for this, now just Oh Ho Ho Ho and Devil May Care to come. Absolutely fantastic.
7 years in the making! Incredible!
Definitely a standing ovation and I'm looking at it from my house!
we love to hear it 💛
AGREE!
FINALLY
Okay so just casually do that tag that good
One of four songs Ive been waiting for 😁😁😁 and the other 3 have come along
Best yet! That last chord was perfect
Damn, two of them are gone but this group still kills it everytime
I love Lemon Squeezy❤!
Those smiles at the end say it all! Fabulous ❤
I know that both Victor and David can and have sung lead in this quartet, and I'm wondering if they can switch parts in between songs or rounds during the competition? Or does each quartet member have to sing the same part for every song in the competition? LOVE Lemon Squeezy, their return this year was such a joy for all barbershop fans!
Idk how correct I am or at all, but the lead listed has to be carrying the melody a certain amount of time, with part switching being pretty common. It’s something like that but I know for sure they could’ve done either or and it’s great regardless
@@ohhmyjesus nope. part switches for entire songs are definitely allowed now, e.g.: GQ 2022 pity party, tofu concern 2023 come what may
personally, as much as i like victor on tenor, i would definitely like to see some victor lead action as well!
Sounds great ❤❤❤
Nothing this good should be legal.
Awesome!

I’m very out of the loop on Barbershop lore lol when did they switch people?
A year or so after Lemon Squeezy's last International appearance, their baritone Mattias left and Sam (who you see here) joined. The original tenor Alex also left in the last few years - David (who you might recognize from Trocadero) hopped on lead and the original lead (Victor) went up to tenor. I love the 2013-2016 era, but they also sound pretty awesome here :))
@@robin-park ❤️ thanks!!!
