You kill loot bugs because they give you minerals and others dislike it. I kill loot bugs because I remember what they were once revealed to be. Saying 'we traded' in DRG is one thing, but saying it about exploders - which literally kill themselves and each other - is truly wild. Unless it was about the revive, which was unsuccessful and thus not a trade either. 16:01 That's the loot bug who took on the cancer. You _can_ break electrocrystals, but they deal damage when pickaxed. Embedded detonators (which you had at the time) is actually really effective against them. Funtionally they just have an invisible healthbar. Quick tip regarding the refinery. When it's active, obviously, bugs spawn. However, when it breaks down, bugs stop spawning aside from the normal waves (which do happen alongside the swarm it causes but are basically unnoticable normally). Additionally, the pipes function as up to 6 permanent lures, and with the bugs having a spawn cap that can take a good bit off of the team. Leaving the refinery broken can give a very good opportunity to do an event of any sort. HOWEVER. Once the refinery fills, bugs immediately start spawning faster and will not stop spawning. You cannot hold off this endless wave, nor often even break even and kill them as fast as they spawn. The bugs are still subject to the spawn cap, but any you kill are immediately replaced meaning the best you can hope to do is kill all the special enemies and be left with an unkillable grunt swarm. I believe corespawn crawlers have an independent spawn cap (like 15 or something but I'm not sure). Only Scout's design as being unable to kill the whole swarm normally anyways but able to kite effectively and indefinitely saved you.

Lootbugs all have the same pathing logic, which makes them all go in the same direction and group up on maps with several rooms clumped together. I share your hunger for hunting them, I love it when the clump together, but I've never seen them all stop at the same point on a wall like that. Normally, they only stop briefly to eat a piece of mineral and move on to the next.
I've been playing Deep Rock solo. almost level 200 lmao. it's great and all, and watching your vids wants me to play with others but got no one to play with. and because of that, i will be consuming my lifetime supply of Blackout Stout. ROCK AND STONE!!

It allows anyone to turn and fight and make space instead of running until you find some Also that's an impressive clutch on that second mission I cannot survive a second on the ground with core spawn around. Fun fact there is a mod that allows you to make custom mission. My friends and I made some funny presets like: "Dude where is my map" where we made that only bulk would spawn plus added a mod that increases the radius of bulk explosion by 5 time, if I remember it called oops or bulks. The other one is where you just change to spawn rolly poly with raz 1x16 turned on. Sadly, on haz 1x64 there is too high of a chance on being thrown so hard that you no clip the walls and just fall into the void. I love drg modded, and I hope you find some funny combos that are challenging but fun to try out.
You can break the electric crystals, shooting them is safer though. You can also use the elemental perk to take less damage from them and tank them while using your pickaxe.
so the funny thing is you could always break the eletric rock but only recently could you break them so quickly (i think they use to count as hard rock so unless you were willing to 100% die you couldnt destroy one)
TLDR so you don't have to read my nerd rant: For tier 4 armor upgrades, breathing room > static discharge > shockwave For tier 2 armor upgrades, healthy > overcharger I'm a few weeks late and this is kinda an 'erm akshuly 🤓' but static discharge on tier 4 of your armor really doesn't do anything, it gives the electrocution debuff to enemies for just 2 seconds in a very small radius, but it actually does a lot less damage than normal elec so it can only kill naedocites (even though it is a 80% slow for 2 seconds), but it doesn't even stun like the tooltip says, the shockwave upgrade is also pretty worthless because the only enemies in can kill in haz 5 are naedocites, it can't even kill swarmers, and especially if you find yourself dying a lot or just in general to help you clutch up/get away from bad places and grab resupplies after being revived, breathing room is just so much better than either one 👍 Also, for tier 2 of your armor, healthy is better than overcharger by a fair amount in haz 4, and a substantial amount in haz 5, since there are some enemies that can actually 1 shot you from full hp in haz 5 if you take overcharger but they actually won't one shot you and will just leave you low if you take healthy, and in fact healthy will just let you have more hp to fall back on if things get bad. That being said, there is a case to be made for overcharger for scout because if you find yourself falling often then it will save you more hp over time, but even then, I'd say healthy is better. (I am so sorry lol, you don't have to change anything if you don't want to, there are other cringe nerd things I would like to say/advise you about this game that I clearly have too much time in, but I think this is fine for now XD)
I feel like you need a custom HUD that shows all your teammates as dead just to prepare you for the inevitable.

Pretty sure if you drill under it it'll just break. Just don't hit it with the drills directly or it'll zap you.

if u animation cancel and hit the right spot u can break most crystals before dying
crossbow plus the bolt recall mod is the best way to defuse shock crystals, impact axes work too
