Jon Huntsman Sr. profile on 20/20 (1996)

Jon Huntsman Sr. rose from poverty to enormous wealth by creating a petrochemical company eventually worth billions of dollars. Throughout, he showed great generosity. Perhaps his greatest philanthropic legacy is the creation of the Huntsman Cancer Institute and the Huntsman Cancer Hospital in Salt Lake City. He and his wife created and sustained them with donations totaling nearly $750 million. This profile of Huntsman by Hugh Downs (who is joined on set later by Barbara Walters) appeared on ABC's newsmagazine 20/20 in 1996.
