Personally Nadal is the most exciting player to watch. He brings everything to the game- Always exhilarating to watch ! Power, excitement , passion , literally blood, sweat and tears. He’s not a cyborg like Djokovic or a cool operator like Federer. Nadal is my favourite player simply because he never fails to entertain and exhilarate more then any other player ! Absolutely love him ! #vamosrafa
Nadal's achievements are commendable but the greatest story in tennis is still that third guy that no one liked, and one that routinely lost to the two all-time greats, and how, all of a sudden, he turned both rivalries around and conquered them both. Every other story is interesting, sure, but doesn't hold a candle to this one.
Stuew And then Federer’s backhand collapsed against Djokovic, he became tentative, and choked TWO MATCH POINTS on HIS SERVE. That’s what still annoys me now and disappoints me, love Federer tho
@@mrhatman675 Federer has a great body than Nadal(fed's body>>>>Nadal's injury prone body). So age factor matters more to Nadal than federer. So age and body are matters for nadals many losses.
Bcz Nadal was a little nervous & passive playing way behind the baseline...Nadal has become a mental midget against Fed & Djoko away from clay, no matter how good he plays through the tournament when he comes up against one of them he looses self belief and plays passive, makes uncharacteristic UF errors to end up losing. This was the case in AUS final too. For me unless Rafa changes his mental aspect he has to wait till one of them loose to win a GS away from clay!
Just look Federer and Mirka fears expressions on the match point , and Rafa still playing with all the intensity ! They're so fears doesn't even believe that will win the match ! They know Rafa and fears him LOL
It's cruel the draws Rafa faced this year. Even when thiem lost early on, he faced a good grass court player in Querrey. I hope he wins US open, he's been sensational in 2019 up until the last game or so (aus open vs Djokovic and Wimbledon semi vs federer).
He can play really good tennis on the US Open courts as we all know. If he can avoid injuries (and nightmare draws) he will make the semis/final easily. He just cannot be a mental midget against Fed/Djokovic. His highest level of tennis is higher than Federer’s and can match Djokovic’s right now
it s such a shame that rafa played his worst match with federer. if rafa was in the finals i think that he would had beaten djokovic. djokovic was playing 60% of his level in the last 2 matches
Djokovic’s return was terrible for parts of that match. I really think if Nadal had kept his cool and beaten Federer in 4 (maybe 5; Federer was playing very well) he could’ve handled Djokovic just by pure aggression and force. After all, his serve was better than Federer’s all tournament and Djokovic couldn’t break Fed’s until the end of the fourth set. Federer just couldn’t break his serve, something Nadal is much, much better at
I think the best performance in the tournament came from Federer, but Nadal wasn´t too far behind. He had a sensational run, which culminated in a really good match.
Ciprian Ghenghea Yep, Federer had no chance against prime Rafa when we look at his pathetic records. He needed a out of prime Rafa in 2017 to finally beat him.
@@stuewz Yea, 2017 Nadal was a lot declined in movement, speed and reduced si spin in his forehand because he could no longer play his monster defensive level. And the swiss still barely beat him in 2017 ao final with a speed up court
Roger is 7 - 1 on H2H since 2014 !! Unforunately, Nadal hasn't beaten Roger outside clay for 5 and half years !! Kudos to Rafa's domination is on clay though !!

Only nadal can be defensive on the grass and play 4 finals on 5 years. 2006-07-08-10. Really amazing
He is just relentless, every point is played like the last. Must be exhausting for opponents (especially on clay on 5 sets (if they get there))

He didn’t play a single seeded player until Federer. That’s a really easy draw. His only difficult match was Kyrgios.
Much more than a simple tennis player
He's the best ever
I know Djokovic won the Wimbledon and is considered the favorite for the US open win, but don't write Rafa out too
Unless he regains his self belief that he can beat Fed & Djoko away from clay, he's only good till he reaches one of them.
