If they don’t know the job then their funding isn’t being used properly. And defund does not mean to get rid of so calm down. We do need police, we just need competent and properly trained police forces.
Thank you for clarifying what is meant by "defund the police." I think a lot of the panic really is due to that confusion. Do you think movements to improve policing would work better if they used a different catchphrase?
The knee jerk reaction to defund the police was to be expected, it was poorly named. The idea is spot on & police are tasked with too much & given no training. A high school diploma & 12 weeks of classes are insufficient. Trained professionals, not cops, should handle mental heath, social work and as we just saw, obviously, death threats.
We need a police refresh. If we could get the unions to let us combine police and social work under one organization, it would make the police way more effective at dealing with social situations.
@NuVue Law enforcement acting like military force was absolutely not normal, WW2 clearly showed how dangerous that was to citizens. Then the war on drugs came & right wing used it to entroduce military training to law enforcement and gifted them with unused military equipment. I think it was the beginning of the slippery slope toward Fascism.
Never trust "Law enforcement". NEVER!!
Arm yourself. Fight back.
These cowards need to be exposed.
Each one of those phone calls can be traced back to the individual. In California that individual can be exposed and legally sued. As a former Federal employee I received vicious calls. I hired a private detective and traced back 8 of the calls. I then filed suit against each individual and received financial judgments in 6 of the cases. When the caller would not pay up I went back to court and had their salary garnisheed and/or their property seized and auctioned, proceeds going to me as settlement. I want EVERYONE to know that no one has a right to threaten another with death. It is a State and Federal crime. If you walk away, quit your job then they win. Go ahead, call me again and leave me a death threat. I promised your salary will be coming to me for years to come.
And everybody clapped.
Awesome

Good work! This is what should happen to every single one of these goofs. They should understand they have responsibility for they say.
The many people and politicians who I despise but I can’t imagine ever thinking it’s okay to send death threats. I feel awful for all these election officers just trying to do their jobs
I just can't believe how disgusting and awful people are. It's so so sickening
How disgusting people are? What promise did Biden keep? How many promises did he make and he did the complete opposite, trying to take away our 2nd amendment rights and so on, while they cower inside the white house. We are coming for those workers, one way or another. This is America and our second amendment is not to be fucked with.
What do you expect when the so-called leaders set the bar so high on committing the worst crimes and then they flaunt it in the face of Americans when no Justice is served? Yes it's cruel to make someone live in fear and I know two wrongs don't make a right but I feel they need a taste of their own medicine because we're talking about a handful of individuals that could do a lot more evil to innocent people without a care, including you and I. These people value money over life & It's obvious they're not going to serve Justice on their selves. So with the way things have gone just within this past year, not even including the previous 200 years, I would like to hear your suggestions?
@@anonymousanonymity7937 that s been around way longer than Biden so quit blaming him when Trump influenced these devils
@@anonymousanonymity7937 Bro who cares? why blame these poor people? Why threaten them?
@@xraaurusreal97 but the election wasn’t stolen. There has been no admissible proof provided. Threatening election officials and undermining our election processes like Trump did with the Secretary of State are direct threats to our democratic system.
If OAN put his phone number on air like that, they bear some of the responsibility. My God, WTF has happened to society that people think that's okay?
It's not good to threaten anyone! But our voting system's... do need to be cleaned up!
Absolute freedom corrupts absolutely.
When people that live in a “free society“ believe they are entitled to do whatever they want whenever they want to whoever they want.
Until others want to enjoy their own freedoms, then suddenly they claim 'oppression'. 🤡
@@RankinMsP huh? there are no freedoms we have that impacts someone else's freedom unless we are violating laws. our laws protect our continued freedoms. ya see?
Freedom? I thought it was absolute power corrupts absolutely. Power definitely corrupts.
I find more and more that when people say "freedom", what they really mean is that they want to be completely selfish ***holes.
@@pbgd3 that’s not true. Religious wackos use that freedom to trample on LOTS of other people’s freedoms.
This makes me feel so hopeless. So many people thinking that threatening folks is the solution, that violence is the solution. These folks are just so deluded - they’ve all lost their way. They’re so far away from the truth that there’s no way to come back for them.
It’s so sad. I’m so sad. I
So sad how our "democracy" has fallen. This is definitely not the home of the brave or free....and for many people it never has been.
"You'll find out, but I've got a pass." This is terrifying
I bet if anyone said those same things to those callers and emailers they'd be calling the cops real quick.
And I bet the cops would be investigating and making arrests real quick, too. It's no secret whose side they're on.
One caller, without being asked, mentions twice that he listens to OAN.
That seems sooo real.
MAGAts are proud of their stupidity, so what's there to doubt?
If you have a problem with the law, get to the law makers, educate yourself, vote, and try to influence your community.... don't threaten government workers.
That's too difficult. Educating oneself is the devil hahahahaha
Lawmakers are at a stalemate now. In other words they give a green light to this behavior. That's why our vote is more important now than ever before.
They’re being taught education is “indoctrination” as it makes them harder to program with propaganda.
the fact that there’s ppl out there that will literally take the time out of their day to just harass other ppl back to back.. it’s ridiculous asf..
The scary part is not knowing which person will take the harassment to physical assault. Just because they live out of state does not stop people like pizzagate guy or Kyle Rittenhouse from crossing state lines while armed.
@@00inwiththenew00 bro, we are living in our own horror film.. just based on true events and that’s the most terrifying part about it..
@@nayonnak8043 As scary as things are, these are quite tame compared to America's violent history especially considering America has lived through Nazis trying to take over the world, nuclear war with Japan, assisanated President JFK, violent hangings and killings of black and minorities, assassinated MLK and Malcom X, etc. I believe there is nothing new under the sun. Society should be improving at a faster rate though, sadly we're still being held back.
@@00inwiththenew00 you’re right about that, things should have been changed for the better.. but for some reason not that many people really value change in a positive light, which is understandable. but still, something gotta give and it needs to happen a lot more sooner than later.
Leaving death threats either on the phone or social media at the least should have a police officer drop by their house or place of work.
In stone, giving these ticking dopey time bombs a pass only will encourage them to harm others.
Publish the list and charge every last one of them with threatening the life of a public official!
Police definitely need to hold account for these threatening phone calls seriously. By passing the number to respective stations then give a call back can further verify the said caller intention.
I want to hear a lot more of these psychos being confronted with their crimes.
Wow. Dude literally said he wasn't a Trump supporter before, but OANN made him one.
DirectTV made the right call.
That’s like the mom who blamed beavis and butthead when her kid set the house on fire. Don’t bs. No news network makes anyone do anything. We have biased news on both sides and for most people fox is the only conservative option. That’s not balanced with the number of left wing news outlets. Any time one of them gains some popularity, leftists harass the advertisers and cable companies until they drop them. When you equate your political ideology with morals, that’s the result.
One thing we noticed is that many didn’t even live in Georgia and when asked no one answers that question. 🤦🏾♂️
Trump gave his supporters something no one else would; permission to be their worst selves.
That's why they will never abandon him.
Exactly.
Too fucking true
He said “peacefully make your voices heard”. If people instinctually default to violence, Trump didn’t bring it out of them. He’s just used as an excuse for rotten people. I voted for him and would never participate in any such nonsense. Because above all, my nature and my upbringing and my conscience dictate that I don’t hurt others. Don’t forget, Maxine waters told her supporters to form a crowd and “push back” on politicians at gas stations and grocery stores. Let’s not pretend that her rhetoric caused people to dox scotus judges and gather in front of their homes. They would have done it anyway. Maxine is just a scapegoat for people incapable of empathy or kindness.
Not only is this crazy, it’s sad. These people keep quoting news stations, and why wouldn’t they believe the news. Journalistic integrity has fallen so far. Fox News and many others should’ve been fined or taken off the air years ago.
Fox News isn't a news channel, and their most popular talking heads aren't journalists.
It is propaganda nothing more
Both CNN and Fox only sprinkle in like one or two actual news anchors the rest are political personalities. If cable news is your main news source just admit you're a bias idiot. It's sad that you get more accurate American news from European news networks than big US news networks.

When people make threatening phone calls like this, their phone numbers should be made public so that we can all call them and threaten them without any repercussions.
Doing that to anyone is fucked but the fact that it’s targeted at electION officials and not electED officials blows my mind.
One is promoting democracy and the other is actively hurting millions and destroying democracy in other countries
And yes, actively working to promote American hegemony (being in political power) has historically been a huge threat to global democracy and likely won’t change
