Rly gotta feel for SMUs GK. Defence rly left him hanging today… his response to these goals didn’t help at all though tbf.
Couldn't have said it better -- after Oregon's first goal it looked like he took out his frustration on his teammates. Oregon's offense was tough enough to handle for a cohesive unit -- without cohesion SMU didn't stand a chance.
I'd put the second one on him, and perhaps the fifth, but the first was a great shot, the third was bad luck, and the other three are on his defense.
@@EricAKATheBelgianGuy Harsh to blame him for the second one. He makes the initial save from point blank range by just getting his body in front of it, so pretty much impossible to hold it or even get it wide to safety. OSU was basically just first to react to every loose ball in the SMU box.

That sixth goal is the worst one for me. Farrington just dribbles around several defenders, and it's like they don't even try to get the ball off of him. SMU totally gave up.

I feel like when you compare the quality of uniforms between college and the pros, college soccer has the lowest quality among the major sports. I don't get it.

SMU is always overhyped and over ranked. Their schedule is weak, playing only 2 ranked teams. It shows every tourney too, getting literally butt fu*ked

I've said that, too. SMU has historically been an underachieving program. 35 appearances overall now, and they've only made two College Cups? And they've never even made the final.
Those that criticize SMU normally are the ones who didn’t even get looked at by them to play there. It shows every year.
