Like the idea of the fridge on slides and is what I am looking to do. As it is, can you easily remove the fridge with your current setup? Basically, do those slides allow it or would you have to take it all apart? Just thinking about having a quick release setup etc.
Sure. Along the bottom corner of the fridge there is a thin strip of metal. You can drill into it but no deeper then 15mm. I screwed the slides into that.
I enjoyed your video, gave it the thumbs up. Just a couple of questions for you...is the fridge only secured to the slides by the screws/bolts? and what size screws/bolts did you use?... many thanks
Hey Rick, the bottom of the fridge intact all around the fridge there is 15mm alloy angle. I drilled into that and secured the slides with 15mm 1/8th self tappers. 8 in total. It hasn’t budged. I was going to do it with riv nuts but I thought best to start with little holes first and if I have to put riv nuts in later I can expand the holes. The other idea I had was to glue some alloy angle to the base and then drill though that into the fridge. Take not 15mm is the max you can go. 👍
@@4wdglampingaustralia102 Many thanks for your reply…I was looking at getting one of these fridges and was working out how to install it. You’ve certainly helped with your info 👍. Thanks again…
I have heard that they outsold their back orders and have not got a new allotment of them to sell yet. So removed them until they have more. Also heard or legal action from bushman which I doubt is true.
Hey mate what thickness aluminium did you use?

Could you please provide some detail on how you managed to attach the fridge to the slides.

Anyone know why it’s disappeared from their website. 🤷♂️

Have you had any problems with the kings fridge
Nope been running full time since I did this vid and I can’t fault it. Except the kings logo that is
Sooooo much wasted space!
