- Coaster Express is the tallest and longest wooden coaster in Spain. The 120 foot drop propels the train at 50 mph through the 4,574 foot circuit, but what really sets this RCCA (Roller Coaster Corporation of America) woodie apart from the others are its 590° and 520° helices. Only two other RCCA coasters were designed by Werner Stengel and both are located in Europe. Can you name them and the parks they're located in? (Hint: We posted videos of both of them on this channel.)

Getting some real RCT vibes from that pause on the lift.
Having done this roller coaster a couple of days ago, I can honestly say it's the worst one I've done so far. I've been in a lot of roller coasters all over Europe and while some might not be the most impressive or as thrilling. I've never left a roller coaster physically ill and never wanting to do it again... Until now. While the coaster express is impressive in size and general layout, it's horrible when you're in it. You get shaken so much, you're garanteed to leave the ride with a head ache and a couple of bruises. It's so painful and just a generally unpleasant experience.
When I went to Parque Warner it had the longest waiting line, so honestly... save your time and go queue for the Superman or Batman roller coasters.

Rolly Coaster Lol. Sometimes I think just a bit of retrack and a tiny bit of reprofiling with new trains is enough. Kind of like Ghostrider.
Rolly Coaster That's why I said a little bit of reprofiling. Not a complete redo, just a little bit of reprofiling on the drops to make them a bit more sharp to increase airtime. I'm sure this ride had some airtime when it opened, but over time the park didn't keep up with the maintenance and this is where it ended up.
I can see that. That being said, it does have a nice layout for an RMC makeover, but like Georgia Cyclone, I think this one's still got a little life left in it. There's still potential.
A bit more sharp won't do it; the first drop isn't even 45 degrees. Whether in wood or steel, this coaster will need to be completely transformed in order to be exciting.

I just rode this today, and holy fuck how has nobody suffered any major injuries on this thing? BY FAR the most painful ride I've ever been on, and because of the pain, the fact that it's the "longest wooden coaster in Spain", is absolutely NOT a good thing... at all.
Such a shame, when you walk up to it it looks spectacular... and then you sit down and realize you may as well hit yourself with a sledgehammer a few times instead.

It's almost like RCCA didn't know a thing or two about wooden track profiling.
This was created by the same manufacturer (RCCA) who build Son of Beast at Kings Island
That explains a lot seeing as Son of Beast had a lot of the same issues.
Which was rougher? If SOB was this rough I can understand all the hate it still gets even when long gone
it looks so good from far way, but when you're on it all it is is pain with absolutely no airtime. probably the worst coaster i've ever been on. :(
They've updated it, I didn't test it before the update but when I rode it i enjoyed it. It wasn't that bad, or at least it isn't now

A legend like Werner Stengel deserved to work with any one else other than the dummies at RCCA :( At least he made many of the greatest Intamins and B&Ms that we have today~
Stengel is awesome.
He is somehow really poor at designed wooden coaster. Even John Allen did much better decades ago. He really push too far with lateral force but forget to add some airtime. Making it dead slow at pace and unnecessary long ride.
Only (and only) by Intamin introducing Prefab, his name was restored
Seems like some sort of sick joke that this thing has the same trains used on Intamin prefab woodies like El Toro.

This needs to be GCI re-tracked or RMC’d it if the coaster is rough.
GCI couldn't save this trash, the layout is too awful for smoothness to fix it. It needs a full RMC re-do
I rode this a couple days ago and honestly it wasn’t that bad. A bit shaky and jerky and rough here and there but it is tolerable. I was expecting a much worse ride and I would’ve re ridden it too if it weren’t for the one train ops and longer wait

I never saw a coaster stop for 10+ seconds on top of the initial lift climb. In fact, I never seen a coaster stop at all before the first drop.
It could be block braking if a train hadn't made it past the next brake.

RCCA= Rough Coaster Causing Aches. It looks like it could be fun, if you didnt need chiropractic help after riding. And if it carried a little more speed, though with this rougness that may be the wrong way to go.

I'd still take Dinn Corporation over RCCA. Their rides make rides like Mean Streak and the original Texas Giant look elite. Dinn Corporation actually knew how to make good wood coasters, while RCCA just hired a bunch of people who didn't know basic physics and engineering in middle school.

I rode this when it first opened and it was painful back then so dread to think what it’s like now. I think this is one of the worst coasters ever, which is weird as my favourite woodie is also an Intamin.

I have to admit I like the layout of this coaster CoasterForce. Is this coaster ranked in any top 10 list? And also I think it is funny how nice and sunny it seems to always look when filming in Spain but as soon as you start filming in the UK it is almost always cloudy damp wet everything but sunny. Probably a nice country to visit but I could not live in the UK. Plus I would miss football too much. Lol

letting RCCA build roller coasters was a horrible idea
I have ridden well over 200 roller coasters so far, and I can safely say that this is by far the worst coaster, that I have ever ridden!
The roughness of this ride is so insane, that it is almost unbelievable! It makes a coaster like Hurler look like El Toro. I have never been involved in a car crash, but this is pretty much the way I would imagine it to feel.
But even if the coaster was smooth, it would still be bad, due to the horrible layout and extremely slow pacing. Usually there is always something positive to say about a roller coaster, even if it is a bad one, but this one.... I honestly can't think of one positive thing to say about it!

RCCA coasters make Mean Streak look elite in nature. In fact, Mean Streak actually made the top 10 wood coasters in its early years, and none of RCCA's coasters did. Plus, Dinn Corporation actually knew how to build wood coasters. Charles Dinn was head of maintenance at Kings Island before, and he knew what he was doing. RCCA, not so much. I wouldn't be surprised if people think Mean Streak was a better ride than RCCA's garbage :D

i have been to all theme park around europe, im in a pretty athletic shape i do 3h of sport everyday and a lot of competition, its the first time on a roller coaster that i was afraid for my health and that i wanted the coaster to finish, i could feel every bump in my vertebral colomn and i was really afraid to damage it, i can't imagine a non athletic 60 year old mom riding it with her kid not finishing at the hospital...the parc is one of the best i have been in europe, superman is an amazing ride and then you have this really bad coaster...the layout is great that's the thing if they do a retrack like tonnerre de zeus at park asterix im sure it will be a really nice coaster because the potential is there to make an amazing wooden, but they need to do something before somebody is severely injured and they get sued...
The park has just completed a retrack, it reopened this spring after two years😂

Esta atracción es lo puto peor. Te haces polvo de una manera brutal, solo tienes sujeción hasta la cintura y la parte de arriba del cuerpo y la cabeza la llevas como si fueras un muñeco de trapo. Todos los que íbamos nos hicimos moretones en los brazos y acabamos con el cuello fatal. Hoy casi no puedo moverlo, y para colmo justo cuando acaba, antes de entrar donde vuelve a empezar, se estropeó y nos dejaron 25 minutos al sol con 37 grados. Entiendo que son máquinas y que se pueden estropear, pero encima del dolor, casi nos da una insolación. Debería llevar sujecciones para tener el cuello y la cabeza protegida. Alguien con problemas de cuello o espalda se parte en dos. Me subí al superman y a pesar de que es mucho más heavy, salí sin un dolor.

Visualizando el video la montaña rusa tiene un diseño precioso pero se ve que lo único que sirve es para darte golpes golpes es los pies, temblor de piernas, golpe en las rodillas con el cohe, saltos de culo en el asiento, golpes de tripa en el arnes, golpes de espalda, temblores en la cabeza, y temblor en la cara y en los dientes no creo que mole y sea segura.

I absolutely love this ride!!! Non-stop forces, extreme speed and airtime, super smooth and extremely fun. The pinnacle of wooden coaster design. I hope they never remove it.

That is one of the worst coaster layouts I've ever seen, they fact this hasn't been RMCd yet us criminal, it would go from being one of the worst rides in the world to one of the best, c'mon Parque Warner, imagine the strength of your 1 2 punch if you had an RMC and Gotham City Escape, 2 of the best rides in the world in the same park

This may be the worst wooden coaster I have ever been on in my life. It’s dull as shit, it lacks airtime, and it’s tougher than sandpaper. If you ever go to this park, do not ride this. The credit isn’t even worth it.
I want to at least try an RCCA coaster before they’re all gone though. Because they definitely will be soon.
