quite something, out of the EJay's this one is the only one that attempts to look 'normal' and not 'crazy'. Rave was always my favourite. Thankfully we can still enjoy these today. I have a retro PC designed just for older software so rave/dance/hiphop etc all work fine this one definitely same engine as Rave. although features a Pitch control which Dance/rave does not. I often wondered if the samples could be injected from one ejay to another. Can't remember, does this one (hip Hop) have the Hyper Generator?
Most ejay products can import .pxd sample files. Except for samples from Dance ejay 7, Techno ejay 5, R&B ejay, hiphop ejay 6, and ejay virtual music studio. These programs can not import .pxd files from older programs either.
All the eJays from generation II - IV (Dance eJay 2, 3, 4 etc...) were pretty standardised when it came to layout. Though some of them had some very funky colour schemes... iBiZa eJay springs to mind (of course then Dance eJay 5 came along). You can import samples from these earlier eJay versions between each other at least - in fact, some of them had a feature for importing them automatically (you could load Dance 1 & Dance 2 PXDs into Techno eJay 2 for example). But you have to make sure at least the BPMs match up, if not the keys too - e.g. HipHop (HipHip?) eJay 1 is 96 BpM, while HH2 is 90. HipHop eJay 1 does not have the @HyPeRGeNeRaToR but it does have the super awesome LiVe ScRaTcH sTuDiO.
@@ROBBIEP The copy right claims have come from people who have used the samples from this program. Non of them come from the holders of ejay. Some of the videos I've uploaded have copy right claims from those who have simply claimed the demo songs of theirs. Sadly, nothing much can be done.

@@musicsoftarchive4328 thats the sad truth, only battle it is the original ejay creators to do a id content register for the demo songs maby :)
