Great to see you back Kelly! Never feel like you need to apologise for taking time for you ❤️🩹 The reason I (and I'm sure many others) follow you is because you ARE different to all the other instarunners! You're a normal, hard working mum and we relate to your ups and downs, that's why your content is so good because you're absolutely unique but also, completely relatable! So pleased you're feeling better and ready to share your journey again! BTW, I've had a shite summer of injury and unmotivation but hoping a new plan/coach will help get a bit of structure back in my life. Its swings and roundabouts for everyone. Vamos Valencia 🇪🇸 🎉
You are brave and honest and that comes across in your videos. And I love to watch someone who is attempting to do something that I could never even get close to. A BQ. And the fact that ist is going to be a stretch for you is why I so admire you and it’s why I watch this UA-cam channel over many that are just not real world.
Hi Kelly Good to see you back I don't normally comment on people's blogs but felt the need to comment on your imposter reference. You are far from an imposter the vast majority of avid runners do not run sub 4k for the longer races You are probably the most relevant content I watch You keep doing you All the best for your BQ I'm sure you will give it your best
Hey Kelly. Sorry to hear about your unhappy summer. Also sorry you didn't get another attempt at a triathlon. But very pleased that you are en route to Valencia 😀 hope the training goes well !
You are a good runner and a real runner. We are behind you and I for one recognise your journey ’in parts’ because we are so different. Good to see you back 👍
Welcome to Valencia, it is perhaps the fastest marathon, with wide streets, few turns, with many people cheering on the runners, I will also be at the starting line.
Yay! Welcome back Kelly. Sorry you’ve been going through such a tough time. I love that you included those stats from when you first set out to BQ. Compare your PBs now!!! Wow, amazing amazing progress. Never lose sight of how far you’ve already come. I have no doubt that you will get that BQ. You’re brilliant ❤
Thank you so much! Appreciate you! I think we can get so focused on where we want to be that the progress made kind of gets lost in the noise sometimes. A reminder now and then is much needed ❤️
Aw Kelly - how lovely to see you, I’m sorry uv been having a hard time, we’ve all missed you but you’ve done exactly the right thing in keeping urself to yourself and dealing with ur personal life off camera - I really hope ur ok and look forward to following your Valencia journey - all the best honey xx
Really glad to see you back and sorry it’s been a hard time during your deserved UA-cam break. Losing dogs is so hard. Thanks for getting the vids back just as I pop the bike back on the turbo … 😆
Good luck for the rest of training and of course the big day 🎉 I feel very similar to you, it’s been ‘sloggy’ but at the stage where it’s clicking a bit more 😊
Welcome back Kelly, sorry to hear you've had a crap time recently. You have a fabulous place to run on your doorstep, v jealous 😊. Good luck in your training ❤
I think it's a doable goal for you, but I'd almost forget the BQ and see it as a by product of a good marathon..... even if it takes a few years, where the V40 is 3:40, In the end it's just running!!...........Just enjoy it, that's what the main purpose of it is. Take strength from the fact that you are in a hugely privileged position of doing what you love and have your family to share the experience with..... I have to work a 1000kms away from my wife and boys and it breaks my heart every day, I only have running for mental strength and even that has been taken away from me with a bad knee issue that happened last year 6 weeks out from NYC marathon, I was in BQ shape, so it was gut wrenching at the time, but the fitness gained in the block allowed me to 'jeff' it and enjoy the day........ so indoor biking, pool running (when pool opens again in a few days here in Aus) and the occasional Jeffing session that builds hope then pulls the rug a few weeks later when the knee flares. Recently I've never been more proud of getting around Berlin with my eldest son a few weeks ago..... as 9 days out I could barely walk 4k without pain. Now I just want to get back to be able to do what I love doing.....running.👍🦾🏃❤🤍💚
Great blog, the realness of it all is what makes your videos my favorites!
