Were you bothered by the heat of the setup. It looked like it was in that bothersome zone where you are hot af, but not hot enough to be unbareable. ;P Super nice run though, really chill like always.
I like how you mentioned the world records for Invictus and Tammy is like, "dude that was your record". Pretty awesome and you guys were fun to watch. Good run!
unfortunately i had to stop youtube from suggesting his videos because the algorithm was obsessed with him, even if I was listening to music all the related videos would be his mario maker videos. sad because he's a really great content creator
How many people noticed how Ryu holds the controller?? I guess when spin jump isnt a shoulder button, you need an easier way to hold run and spin and other techniques
The music in the level Sewer Smashin, reminds me a bit of the old game Jazz Jackrabbit(Episode 1 Planet 3: Medivo to be exact), great music I might add :-)
im pretty sure most of the songs in this hack are homages to other games n such i'm very certain i've heard most of them before tho i cant really say where tho one is from Touhou i know that
It seems right now 41 min is better than pb of barb and gpb. Don't know how seriously they ever took this game though. Also his pb is currently #2 with 35min.
Wtf is this who make Mario this hard? I damn near crushed my controller in regular Mario games when I have to jump on a small block let alone timing three jumps at once
I am wondering how many people would actually be able to play games like this if Nintendo intended some of those techniques to be used in the original SMW game. Some parts look doable even for a casual like me. In fact i wonder if you would record the necessary movement of Mario on some original stage and then build a level around that that allows only for this exact movement pattern to be succesful. It would look insanely difficult, yet it would be the same path like on the regular level. hmm...
She is turned away from him, has a closed posture, and is protecting her core with crossed arms. Those are usually pretty good indicators of NO attraction.
Then you've watched very few of them if that is your take on Kaizo. Invictus has very little similarities to GPW2.. GPW2 has very little similarities to Ryu World 2.. And they are all not similar at all to SDW.
The commentary for this run has so much dead air. It's probably more entertaining for people who already know everything about Invictus, but watching it with little familiarity with it and limited explanation or player/audience reaction is kinda dull.
@@fabiii9954 I don't buy that, and I chalk it up to the commentator not having prepared much in advance. My counterexample: Any of Fladervy's Freedom Planet runs with commentary by SuccinctAndPunchy. It was a fun and enjoyable run to watch Ryukahr.

Hey I recognize that name 😂
I love the voice of the person reading donations.

I was smiling the entire video, I seriously wish I can see ryu in person once and thank him for all the hard things he carried me trough
Europeans so quiet and respectful. 'shh, don mesh heem ahp.' great live run.
Ryukahr must be one of the most humble guys out there. Respect!
" gotta love the tiny pipes " something tells me that wasn't Mario related
Damn nice, always lov to see that skill. Und schöne Grüße an Greg und Sia 😅
Tammy: "gotta love the tiny pipes"

Tammy: REAL BIG SMILE
Came for Tammy, but stayed for Ryukahr's sexier beard and run.
8:52 such an understanding young lady
Ryu is one of the most naturally talented Mario players I know. This is so exciting to watch! 😄🎊 💯🔥
When you thought ryu was joking about speedrun strats and then you actually see the speedrun in your recommendations.

What if juzcook is secretly worldpeace125 in disguise?
I would never have considered to hold the controller that way

The level that was described as a 'choreographed dance' has Septette for the Dead Princess from Touhou 6.

how do you get a beautiful girl like that to hang out with a bunch of kaizo nerds? XD
she also plays kaizo and mario games, both ryu and tammy play instruments and she's also a singer, they prolly met through their hobbies.
Dude this is epic
who wrote the music for this game. Its just as impressive as the level design.
I know that at least some of those are adapted songs from other games. The Twomp level would be Battle of The Holly from Castlevania, for example.
