I’m debating a refurbished m1 Mac mini $589 can’t beat it or used $450 range. mounted under desk or onto vesa mount with 34” ultra wide on monitor stand super clean. Thought about the MacBook Air but I’m thinking iPad Pro 12” for mobile coffee shop listening / mixing. Fingers crossed logic comes fully to iPad Pro. My wife has given me one area the size of your desk so I have to maximize the space. I have the WA arm so that will be clean also the wa8000. Mic. Just need the monitor stands that clip to desk Love how u pull out keyboards when u need them then put them away. Great idea. Hope u keep making videos

On the big panel you don't like. To add some pop, recover the panel with something fun, or inspirational, or artsy. I feel that will help. You can also incorporate it with the cloud to create a cool scene on that wall. Man the possibilities are endless.... Sorry, my wife is an interior designer so I've picked up the habits 🤦🏾♂️ I can't wait to see what you do with it 😎🥃
Great room and like the editing and style of your video. Not sure why there’s the need to mention half of your stuff has been discontinued. Why does it matter? If it works for you it works. No need to always get the latest shiniest stuff.
I recently upgraded to a Mac mini M1 from the 2019 MacBook Pro due to fan noise. Do you deal with fan noise ? I’m looking at moving my set up out of my walk in closet and right into my bedroom. I’ve been feeling too claustrophobic whilst mixing. Maybe keep the walk in for a vocal booth when doing voice overs or when apartment complex noise is too much. Thoughts ?
Another great video! It is also the second I've seen so far *subscribes* ✌🏼 You've got a great setup! The best thing about my small setup is the Akai LPK25 'Wireless'. Just like my 88-Key Wireless I love creating music without cables. Which means the BEST thing about my setup is Bluetooth ;)
You know what drives me nuts?!?!? I have two different brands of boom arms and can’t use them. I bought a desk and found that there’s a metal frame that goes all around the very edge of the desk, underneath. And that metal frame at the edge BLOCKS the clasping part of the boom arm. I bought another desk, even more expensive than the previous one. SAME PROBLEM!!!
The studio looks great. I get why you don't like the big sound panel though. The biggest thing is those cloud lights! Did you look up a video on how to make them or did your creativity lead to their design? Asking for a friend. 😆 But seriously, those are amazing!
thanks Alex! I saw them on some social platform a few years back and got creative. its just a paper lantern ball, RGBIC light strips inside, and hot glued bed filling to them for cloud texture
so after posting, I totally realized my MacBook is actually from 2018...not 2019. *facepalm*
