Always preferred it when he dropped it into a DJ set at around +4%, it just went so fucking well with a bit of added pace, it's one of those batshit crazy buildups that needs the extra oomph that a couple of extra BPM would always successfully give. What a stone cold classic, showing that machine funk will always be the way forwards.
So fucking true. Techno needs a bit of pace. That's what makes it so fucking exhilarating. I never did get why it slowed right down to 120s a few years ago. To me that's when techno got boring.
