@@phillyeaglesforlife5127 who beat the ravens? In the regular season the chiefs did and in the postseason the titans did. The ravens were not a playoff team, and still would’ve lost to Kansas City
2002 Browns: probably not the longest of longshots, but they went in to the final game 8-7 and having to beat Michael Vick and the Falcons and get help. They beat the Falcons, then had to wait for a favorable outcome in the inter-conference Jets vs. Packers game at 4:15. Thing is, they needed the JETS--the team in their own conference--to win, not the Packers. The tiebreakers were crazy, but they needed that, and they got that. Not a long shot so much as the "man bites dog" situation where a team needs someone else in the conference to win in order to make it.
Nate Poole then got a key to the city of Green Bay for making that catch vs. the Vikings. Today, that catch would not have counted as both feet need to be down and it's no longer a judgment call by the refs to believe if both feet would have landed in bounds without the contact.
One of the craziest scenarios that I remember very well was how the Packers won the division and got into the playoffs back in 2003 when Nate Poole made a game-winning touchdown catch with no time left on a 4th & 24 play and at that time, the force out rule was around so when that happened I knew it would hold up and that rule lasted until 2008. That is a day both Packers and Vikings fans will never forget. Perhaps the Vikings giving up a 4th & 24 play was an omen for the Packers because two weeks later in the divisional round, they gave up a 4th & 26 play to Freddie Mitchell which ended up costing them a victory against the Eagles and the chance to advance to the NFC Championship game against the Panthers. Still surreal to this day.
You left off the 2002 season where as many as ten AFC teams were still alive for a playoff spot. The Pats upset the Dolphins on a last second field goal which opened the door for the Jets to win the AFC East title later that afternoon by beating the Packers at home. The Jets win also allowed the Browns to clinch the final wild card spot via tiebreaker thanks to their win earlier in the day against the wild card bound Falcons and better record against common opponents.
I clicked on the video for that season. I went to the Browns game, had a great time, then watched a couple of minutes of the Jets game before bailing because I had a four hour drive home and didn't want the inevitable Jets' loss to ruin the day. But hey, with Butch Davis running the ship and Tim Couch finally coming into form (at least when he played on the road), it was clear that the Browns were set up for years and years of success.

@@lightyagami3492 The Vikings should have never been in that position to begin with. They lost 7 of 10 after starting 6-0 and five of the seven losses came against teams with losing records.
Guys the only reason that play by Nate Pool was called a catch was because until 2008 there was the force out rule where if the receiver was forced out of bounds by a defender before he could get both feet in bounds the ref could make a decision to either call it a catch or an incomplete pass.

Nate Poole then got a key to the city of Green Bay for making that catch vs. the Vikings. Today, that catch would not have counted as both feet need to be down and it's no longer a judgment call by the refs to believe if both feet would have landed in bounds without the contact.
thumbs up for the last line about the chiefs 😂 😂 😂

Bro I love this channel as much as I love foot ball A LOTTT
I was today years old when I realized that the narrater of these videos is that dude from good morning Football
Steelers fans watching this in 2018.
Needing the Browns to win: too much to ask.
4:25 might have been the only time joe buck was excited
What about the 7-9 sea hawks ?
Westox they won their division lmfao so not to crazy.
Westox how is that a crazy clinch they won their division
Westox not really fitting, the NFC West has been known for their trashy performances in that era
I’m thinking how 3-8-1 Panthers were able to get in the playoffs
Westox The Rams smothered them😊
What's the name of the song starting at 3:52?
0:01: The og Helmet catch.
4:20 - wow beat drop synced with snap was amazing
2012 vikings. adrian peterson goes for over 2000 yards and the vikings get in the playoffs.
how in the world did you not include this game???
kyle smith exactly
The pain in the nos at 3:29 gets me laughing every time
Who's here from the Raiders staying alive after week 16
Correction: Denver eliminated them.
Anyone else here after the Steelers somehow snuck in?
I've had this video in my recommended for over a year but refused as a Vikings fan...I gave in
Nathan poole ik
This years Eagles playoff appearance should have made this list. It was nuts how they got in
paul mcdonald you do realize this video is a year old? Also that wasn’t as good as some of the stuff they put in
What’s crazy is this video actually predicted the bills making the playoffs, it was posted 2 days before Sunday of week 17
Let’s Go Bills! #BreakTheDrought
ConveriX Gaming Yep gotta win and we need some help
Imma Jets Fan but honestly even i feel bad for yall
Bills aren't going to make it it's going to be the ravens and chargers
I got hope let’s go
They might get in, but they won’t get far into playoffs though
Can't wait for week 17 this year. A LOT of implications this week
Yes, the crazy moment is if the Titans will be out despite they were 4th seed heading into the last week
@@jonathanfrimerman8855 yeah bro that's just wild to me
Raiders Week 17, 2019 Need
Win vs DEN
TEN loss vs HOU
PIT loss vs BAL
IND win vs JAX
To make the playoffs
If this video taught me anything, it’s that the Raiders still have a chance
Even if the raiders get in they going to get destroyed by the chiefs
good thing they didn't get in, titans made history
@@mbdg6810 how did they make history
@@ogreman-lll-957 they beat the number one seed and defending super bowl champs. It might not be significant in the league but its significant for their franchise.
@@mbdg6810 exactly not in league history but their own
I remember that Nathan Poole was given the key to the city in Green Bay. What a reward.
Lol P.S. the chiefs got their doors blown off next week.. laughed so hard
Chiefs getting in that year is crazy. Wow!
Raiders, this could be you.
Nope not at all 😂
@@ChiefBlue4298 fitzmagic baby
3:15 that was the best miracle in week 17 history
force out rule was the stupidest thing ever lol
Dakota F NOOOOOOO!
NOOOOOOO!
funny that it screwed the vikings thou LMFAOOO
@@lightyagami3492
The Vikings should have never been in that position to begin with. They lost 7 of 10 after starting 6-0 and five of the seven losses came against teams with losing records.
@@mgtowskeptic5201 i agree. Its still funny though
@@mgtowskeptic5201
Exactly.
As a ravens fan the bengals game made me cry tbh. Breaks my heart. And breaks my heart for the teams to loose
Who’s here when the giants about to do something crazy
Eagles screwed them
Guys the only reason that play by Nate Pool was called a catch was because until 2008 there was the force out rule where if the receiver was forced out of bounds by a defender before he could get both feet in bounds the ref could make a decision to either call it a catch or an incomplete pass.
Those old cardinals uniforms were nice. The current ones they got now are ugly😒
Stand your ground! Have you not seen the Jaguar and bengals jerseys? Those are hideous
Tom Brady Shady #WOAT#MaddenCursed#OldFART Yeah i agree.
Tom Brady Shady #WOAT#MaddenCursed#OldFART and the buccaneers
Gilbert v agree
Stand your ground! DON'T FOCUS on the Arizona Cardinals uniforms because that is NOT what determines Who WINS OR Who LOSES; The Overall Performance LITERALLY and PHYSICALLY on the field is what really matters.
The Uniforms are there just to stand out in a way of being fashionable...
Damn, remember when the Steelers had Antonio Brown, Mike Wallace AND Santonio Holmes as wideouts? That was the most talented receiving corps of our generation. Split up too soon.
Raiders are next

I love the extra segment about the Chiefs at the end.
