Its NOT Pandit Rajan Sajan Misra - Its Pandit Ranjan Misra and Pandit Sajan Misra. Please understand the DIFFERENCE. Its NOT polite to say the names in this way. And its also PANDIT Shantila Shah from Houston. Expected better from 'Shadaj'

Sorry to say this but they liked being called Rajan Sajan even without Pandit. Often followers are more offended than the legends themselves. I agree they have earned all those titles but they are not important for them as the Music.

@Amlan Datta - I understand where you're coming from, but there's nothing wrong with calling them Rajan Sajan Mishra. They became, in essence, one when they were singing. That's where the beauty of their music came from. Also, I think that not prefixing their name with Pandit mostly comes from a point of affection. @swan is right, they have spoken about being called Rajan Sajan. They seemed very happy about it.
It's terribly unfortunate that we've lost Rajan ji at such a young age. I was fortunate enough to see him perform live at many occasions.
